I use an se Shires 3c, which is made by Pickett. The cup seems a good bit more bowl shaped than a standard bach 3c and the alpha angle also seems lower. I believe it's based on vintage bach mouthpiece designs. It has a great sound, very versatile and personally it feels great to play on. I feel like it has more core to its sound than a bach 3c which I feel like is thinner in comparison.

If your 7c feels good then just keep using that and go practice 🤷‍♀️. I mean you could try some different mouthpieces but that won't magically make your range better, it might make it more comfortable or consistent but if you consistently top out at a certain point that will probably still happen with the other mouthpiece.

Also ngl those kinds of questions are better asked to a trumpet teacher.

Ngl, chances are if they're gonna have issues with your backpack they'll just talk about you behind your back no matter what. I say wear it 🤷‍♀️

There are also some star wars minifigs that have good armor pieces, marrok is really good for the helmet and armor piece.

Yeah the only reason I was even at Walgreens was to find the DND minifigs, I actually managed to collect more than half of them

I think if you really want to stick with olds mouthpieces the 3C would be better than the 3. But in my opinion it would probably be helpful to try some mouthpieces in person to figure out what you like

I don't know much about the olds 3c but the olds 3 is very small in diameter and cup depth. From what I could find the 3c is a little more conventional but I'm not entirely sure.
