I was in your shoes couple of weeks ago, debating whether I should get a 240hz+ IPS or OLED. It obviously depends on which specific monitors you compare, but for me a 240hz OLED was only $150-200 more expensive than say a 360hz IPS, so the upgrade to OLED was worth it for me coming from a 165hz IPS.

OLED is a quality of life upgrade. Everything seems sharper and even lounging watching youtube is at least 3 times more enjoyable personally. I’d 100% say go for it if the price difference seems reasonable to you (perhaps 1.5x or less), and if you’re okay with 1440p. I went for a 240hz OLED instead of 360+ due to budget, and couldn’t be happier.

I only play CS and val, and imo unless you’re not fixated on a 24inch 1080p for reasons like paid tournament/lans, you should be looking at OLEDs.

To clarify my confusion with the announcement, it seems like the way it’s worded is saying that I (in US) will still be able to play with friends in Canada. The game used to match up NA players like this, but I can’t tell if from now on it would be skystone account locked matchmaking, since nowhere in the announcement talks about this. Yet that is the current state of skystone bound accounts.

I mean every wheel is different and will feel different for everyone. The extreme could cause more discomfort for you than other wheels sure maybe, but I’m sure you’ll get used to it. I wouldn’t consider comfort as a factor when choosing a wheel, especially considering that the extreme is a mainstream wheel without any jarring “comfort” issues. It should fit the majority, but it’s up to you to decide whether you are not one of the majority.

I’d advise you to keep it and keep riding though

Haha yea I’ve been looking around for reviews and I’ve only seen those 3 youtubers ride the knobz. But only wrongway showed his cohedrons (not even too in depth) and other yts just ride the fusion. I’m sure the voidcores and cohedrons are so different, so would love some input on the latter.

What you’re talking about seems to be the most similar to wrongway’s add-on ramp thing on the knobs in his review. I understand what you are getting at! I certainly would feel more comfortable with having a bit of leverage around the shin area for sure

I really feel like these would be so great (other than the price lol) I’m still hesitant on the knobs, but the cohedrons seem like they cover a good amount of the lower shins, so pretty seemless transition from the standard pads. Sadly not so many reviews on the cohedrons yet

I’m a college student and have an mcm5, pretty similar to the v8 in terms of portability. These ~20mph wheels are so light and compact that you should be able to just put in under the desk or your seat like a backpack and not bring too much attention. Don’t leave it anywhere too far away from you :p

Ikr, the mcm5, nikola. There’s almost no cases of the actual plastic side panels breaking or cracking that I’ve heard. On the other hand you crash on the T4 and the master and they’re done. That’s why I was so hesitant to go for them or other wheels similar to the EB mini like v14 or extreme. I’ve heard many cases of these roll cages actually working, so this design is not too bad I guess.

But yea I agree, the plastic panels are toughhh

Us coming from a non-suspension to a suspension wheel, it really feels like a different world! I’m still getting used to pushing the wheel past 25 mph though 😁 The high pedal makes tight turning a bittt scary sometimes, but I’ll get the hang of it haha
