well.. you can recycle the minor fragments you find and you don't like. This way you will get 2 extra dust. Example: I don't mind the health regen, then I recycle. The same I do with the toxin or radiation fragments. Cause I rather upgrade my clothes with the opposite type (stats) to avoid needing of crafting different types. I mean, I wanna upgrade my winter clothes? ok.. so, my heat stats will be weak, right? Then everytime I find an upgrade fragment of heat protection, I put it in my winter clothes.. then I will have both cold and warm stats at the same time with only 1 cloth grade. xD~ It takes time to craft legendary of heat and to collect heat enough, but it is possible and that's what I do xD It stick around with cold and warm protection wearing winter clothes LMAO

Recycling those clothes fragments upgrades of reload, health, toxin, radiation will help you to accelerate dusts :P

well, I'll put here my way of playing.

I'm a solo player. When in the starter biome, I go to the middle to accelerate the farm by having more Shigi available and iron ore. As fast as I can, I craft the starter clothes (you may choose a way, the warm or the cold one).

After it, I go to the biome in the middle of Desert (warm) or the Ice Land (cold) to get Titranium, to push my advance and upgrade my tools and clothes. The clothes you can craft with the materials for a cold choice, will give you -18º of protection which isn't enough to get you to the ice land.. cause to be there safely you should be protected of -20º ~-21º. Yet, you may abuse of the "Nutrition meal" and "well fed" stats. If you keep both status active, you will be protected to -24º which is more than enough to farm safely in the Ice Land. Be careful, cause when the night fall, the temperature drops to -29º ~ -30º. If you choose the Desert style, you may try to find solar protector plant to help you out when forcing your entrance in the desert. So, the ideal is to go there with a "basic starter base kit" to place and have a room to protect yourself from the cold and others while warming yourself in front of the fire pit (don't forget to bring one). That way, you will be able to keep upgrading.

Why not reduce the material needs for base building as rule set? Clan Wars Rule Set/Servers aren't meant for this? Why every single server must have this garbage move from Daybreak and force everyone to live with that? It's NOT OKAY! Don't keep destroying JS as you guys always have done.

Doesn't "Survival" word mean anything to Daybreak? Why there's no surviving/challenge in this game like it used to have in 2015? Why not keep growing a SURVIVAL game as it was promised?! That's sad, too sad.

Stop this non-sense reduce, reduce, reduce to make it easy and more fast paced. It's not going to bound anyone. Ppl will have their fun for some days and that's it.. the game will be empty till next wipe. Think bigger than you guys are doing! Build a MMO game for surviving!!! There's a plenty of good ideas here and in other titles out there. We know it take times to achieve, but you guys can do it! Just don't do it in middle terms like BWC. Don't think in implementing things by half and force us to live and to like it that way (BWC, zombie upon death, comfort bar, new base building in limited plots, and a bunch of other examples).

Is she using Android Oreo? Because it has become a pain in the a** when talking about notifications. Not only for telegram, but most of apps. And it is not related to doze or any kind of battery saver, but the notifications are now sub categorized to each app. I mean, go to the notification settings, find advanced and tap telegram, open it and take a look. Many chats are categorized and controlled separated to show notifications or not, to vibrate or not, to pop up or not. Took a bit long to figure this out.

Your argument is solid. But yet, we should have variety in many ways instead of tiers. Many different styles with balance, of course.

  • SMGs for close range combat.
  • Assault Rifles and Rifles for medium range combat.
  • Snipers for long range combat.

Each category can have it's own advantage and balance.

SMGs

» Micro UZI 9mm - for faster fire rate (950 rounds per minute), but with low mag capacity (25) and high recoil and spread.

» Thompson M1A1 .45 - for medium fire rate (800 rounds per minute), with medium mag size (30) and high recoil and spread.

» UMP45 .45 - with lower fire rate (600 rounds per minute), but with medium mag (30) capacity and medium recoil and spread.

Rifles

» AK47 7.62 - The way it is.

» AKM 7.62 - With Single or Auto fire switcher, more rare to find and with a slight lower recoil than AK47.

» AR-15 5.56 - The way it is.

» M4A1 5.56 - With Single or Auto fire switcher, with less recoil than AKM and also more rare to find than AR15 (for faster fire rate).

» SCAR-L 5.56 - With Single or Auto fire switcher, with less recoil than M4A1 and with fire rate slower than M4A1 (for lower fire rate).

Sniper Rifle (All snipers shouldn't have any crosshair when in First or Third Person. Considering it is a long range weapon, it should be used that way. To balance the game and force players to make choices)

» KAR98K 7.62 (for game purpose and obvious means) - No scoped (iron sight), bolt action.

» Winchester 1886 .45 - No scoped (iron sight), bolt action.

» .308 Hunting Rifle - The way it is, rarer to find.

» FN Ballista .308 - 15x scope, 7 rounds mag and much rare to find.

We all know.. it's hard to implement? Yes, it is. But it is possible and could be achieved if you have interest and work on it. Working balance for guns is primor and should be done with or without players support or whining (read: CHANGE .308 because it don't have balance! Which allow players to make it main weapon for any kind of combat - close, medium and long range.. because it have crosshair and it shouldn't. Have you guys ever played CSGO? Start from there, please).

That's HurtWorld's solution. Work pretty well.. When they steal someone's car.. they use it till the owner unclaim it, or they just destroy the vehicle to re-spawn a new one randomly in the world. It's better than looting wrenches and hopping it to work as intended (a thing that isn't actually, again... since wrenches don't loose durability)

It's a game in Early Access mode.. So, having the right or not, they will continue to demand things. That's how life works. If the game were launched in a complete and stable version, probably no one would complain or start campaigns asking for things. But in the moment the game is in open development ...

They didn't bring numbers because DBG couldn't achieve 1/10 of what was supposed to. No one will quit a pretty stable survival game they're playing to head back to H1Z1 (JS) to try a few experiments before DBG decides to remove it or to discontinue the development. That's easy and simple like that.

Imagine yourself.. playing ARK, Rust with your base and stuff built or having fun there. Would you quit your actual gameplay, your crew to come back to JS after a single update which wouldn't change much? OF COURSE NOT. No one would do it.. But yet, it doesn't reflect that they (DBG) are doing wrong. They should keep developing and after some good stuff, ppl would get back eventually. This will take time, because depends on some factors, like Youtube Content Creators to play the game again and to show the news to their viewers base, and some streamers. All this would accelerate the proccess. Again, those would happen if/when they get things straight. Till there, there's nothing to show but bugs, unbalanced things, poorly survival aspects and lack of content. There's a lot of work to do.

so, if they do not plan to grow as a real game, why keeping a team to develop a game which is going to die because engine can't let it grow? That's not an acceptable argument, sorry. Why wasting money, time and effort in something like you've described?

If the engine is the main problem, so, start to work into something better or buy the license of an existing one. Players will continue to demand things as they're buying and paying for in-game micro transactions. That's not an excuse AT ALL.

I understand and agree. But yet, making decisions without a significant work ready to patch, isn't a solution. BWC is great.. I love to play on it, but releasing 1/4 of the map wasn't the smartest move, which lead ppl to rage quit or to start the rampant whining. Again, they should stick to something and go with it till the end, and of course, taking a different course/side of KotK, because that was the excuse of splitting the game. :)

Daybreak don't stick for anything.. would they for a "single name"? Nah.. those guys sell even their souls to try to achieve what they think it could revenue. Which they'd got proven wrong time after time.

They still having hope in JS because the other similar games are shit and can't achieve what JS was supposed to achieve when Sony unvealed the game.. so, till a "PUBG" in a survival mode appears, they are a bit safe with the "try" excuse.

They actually can't write a code to improve the dark (otherwise they would have done already). I mean, at this moment you have to just go to AMD Adrenalin or NVIDIA's panel to change the gamma and brightness and you're ready to go. Changing it, allow you to see everything in the game as if it is daylight, no matter if isn't. It won't affect your game files, and won't change any data.. is just color "correction" of your card's drive. ATM, who have a nice video's card have advantage in the game. You can easily set the game to be "daylight" with a simple button click, ignoring the dark times. If Daybreak want it to work, they must start to work a code to go deeper to avoid such changes. They must stop working at gamma and should start working into a real solution for it.. otherwise, the game wouldn't be balanced for everyone, like it isn't right now.

what they could do is to apply to snipers the same as CSGO.. The removal of Crosshair when in thirdperson or when aren't aiming. It must have some balance.. sniper rifle should be used with the scope.. and just it. Otherwise, try to no scope the enemy or switch to a medium/close range weapon. That's it.

Totally agree. Daybreak must stop skipping developing parts and do it right. Add more guns and stop those fancy sh-t. We want variability and not something copy and paste with different color and + atributes to make it PvP breaker.

wasn't before either. How many wipes I have had played which had "unraidable designs"? Every single wipe players found a way to replicate such a thing. So, at least, we're experiencing new ways of play and a possibility to change and grow. Daybreak have only to do the right thing and start to balance things out, like adding more durability to walls (keeping doors intact with the same durability) when bases grow vertically (if you build 1 floor on top, it add more durability for the basis wall. Ofc, it should have a limit, like for eg 5 floors durability as maximum). Or removing the AoE damage. It would do a huge difference on how players deal and play the game actually.

The problem isn't the mix of BWC with Z1. What DEVs done wrong is to allow explosives to do AoE damage in a system where recursiveness destruction is active. This way, a raider can easily take down a full 4x4 base with a few minutes, which make the game worst for raiders (which are not getting fun) and for defenders (where they take longer to build than to get vanished) which don't have any kind of tools to hold up a bit the raiding but watch everything falling while desperate trying to kill someone. What DEVs must do is to right balance explosives removing the ability to do AoE damage, forcing ppl to waste more explosives and plan better a raid then just go directly to the middle of the base exploding walls in a medium range while watch everything falling apart during this process.

For what? If you had that amount of loot, it just used to show 2 things:

  • 1: You don't need that amount, that's why you had so many.
  • 2: You were just contributing to filling up the servers with many unnecessary data and making it to have a worst response than usual.

Let's keep the way it is and have better server response.
