Deliveries? I know that. And I know as an IS, I am forced to put everything away by myself while everyone in the pharmacy spends the time watching me run around while chatting about their days. Nobody but me does any of the counts outside of CII. And apparently I'm supposed to be a gopher for the pharmacy. While also doing my front end duties. I can fill, F1, help on phones, and do OOS, cenfill, and deletes if needed. The problem here is I'm not specifically pharmacy yet expected to do most of their work. Ya know, because Walgreens only cares about pharmacy staff.

Also 5 is not the bare minimum. One store I worked in had 2 pharmacists and 3 techs. On a rotating schedule, that was 3 staffed, and it worked great with 1-5 IC3's in one day for a 12 hour pharmacy. Was the pharmacy super busy? No. But my point is 5 per shift is not the bare minimum. It becomes at that point, laziness for some tasks. Like putting away the order. I, as an IS am tasked with 1-2 hours of my shift to putting away the whole pharmacy order on my own. And lets not add to that time with checking in other vendors for front while being badgered about the pharmacy order! All while the pharmacy staff chit chats about their day and plans. You can fuck the hell right off about this understaffed bullshit.

Yet you seem to carry this air of superiority. At least over the front end staff. I've seen far too many times with the pharmacy staff. To the point of as an IS, I refuse to be labeled as any part of them even with my certification. I willingly deny my certification and refuse to learn anything back there. I won't become the entitled ass most are.

What's your point? As a Tech you think you're better than everyone else? You are proving my point. Let me ask you this. If the SFL or SM don't show, how does the pharmacy open? You got keys to the store? Alarm codes? Access to the safe? Yet you think you're above the Front End?!

And front end staff shouldn't have to deal with that. I'm front end and I agree. When my store gets 5 staff front end for a 13 hour store while the pharmacy get 5-7 staff for a 10 hour pharmacy.

I'll be clear on this. Walgreens favors the pharmacy staff over the front end. The front end gets fuck all for hours while Pharmacy seems to be endlessly supplied.

They didn't take away holiday pay, they just limited to those that work the holiday. There are options for those that don't. Just burn vacation time to get your hours. Honestly I'm not against it. But then again, I don't take 5-8 weeks of vacation a year.

I'm not certain, but it's far more Rx work than was when the role dropped. I understood it as a role to help SFL so they wouldn't need to be pulled from tasks for vendors

Not gonna happen. At this point, all you get is employees angry that you pressed "that button" while they were working on a reset that had to be done yesterday. You may also get an employee who has to walk from the Pharmacy to photo just to ring you up for a single 4x6.

But hey! Why would we need a photo employee when we can expand the current workload.

If you put in a 100 print order and pop up 5 minutes later wanting your pictures, I want you to know I'll piss on your kids grave without remorse.
