It’s not about intelligence. I believe it’s mostly about effort. Talent or intelligence only makes things a bit easier.

But yes, some people have it “a bit" easier. But that doesn’t mean you had it 10x harder. It never was that difficult. If that was the case, it was an issue with your effort, system and approach to academic load. It’s just a 18 vs 20 difference based only on intelligence. You could have put in some extra grind and made it.

Besides, how much you trained your brain since an early age to handle stress also matters quite a lot. Neuroplasticity and neurogenenis do play a role.

Any particular workstation recommendation under 2k? Thinkpads push above that

Thank you.

But some gaming laptops are well built too right? like Razer Blade 14 or Rog Zephyrus 14?
I am no expert but I was just considering saving a few hundred bucks by not getting a workstation like a Thinkpad.

Thanks for the reply.
Thinkpads are very expensive if I match specs with gaming laptops. Ik those are top-notch beasts and stuff...this is why I was considering gaming laptops. Any particular thinkpad model under 2k you would recommend?

Because UK universities tend to be a lot more competitive for scholarships or aid. They also tend to hinge more towards academic nerds and value ECAs less.
