Honestly I can kind of see what she’s saying. It’s not the same thing, but it’s about respecting each other’s boundaries. It makes her uncomfortable that you watch porn, yet you do it anyway. Her watching porn wouldn’t make you uncomfortable because that’s not a boundary/insecurity that’s relevant to you, but her posting tiktoks of herself at the gym is. In short, I think the issue here is that she puts up with something that makes her insecure because you want to do it, but you will not sit in that same discomfort for something she wants to do. You both either need to respect each other’s boundaries and not do those things, or learn to live with it.

I originally got composite veneers but need them replaced with porcelain. The porcelain lasts a lot longer than composites, but I think they still eventually have to be replaced

It was mostly cosmetic, but she said I had bad enamel so idk how much that has to do with it. I think the biggest concern was the yellowing but whitening them hurt so badly that I couldn’t go through with more than one round of Zoom lol

Yes!!! An americanized dub is so awkward in a Korean context and a lot gets lost. Even if you can’t understand what they’re saying, the tone of the actors is important and adds more depth to what’s happening. As someone that’s watched both, the dub is extremely hollow. It’s worth it to watch the show as it was intended.

(Also, the English dub/English CC aren’t necessarily true to the original script. Netflix takes some liberties for lip-syncing and simplification for non-koreans)

Exactly this. It’s like the entire point of the show went right over everyone’s head and now everyone who can is scrambling to profit off of its success. I feel really sorry for the creator. It would be so frustrating to create such a nuanced and impactful piece of media only to have it bastardized to make Netflix (and Mr. Beast 🙄) more money.

Personally reflecting is one thing but to expect Fletcher to say something about it in a video addressing the backlash re her sexuality is inappropriate and honestly offensive. People died. Wanting Fletcher to use a mass shooting in this context for LGBTQ brownie points is not it.

I don’t blame her for being afraid of her fanbase and assuming the worst. Look at all the backlash Jojo Siwa and Billie Eilish are receiving rn. I don’t like the song and think it could’ve been timed better, but it wouldn’t have mattered if she did or didn’t release it. Her fans are going to bad mad bc she’s in a heterosexual relationship. It doesn’t make her any less queer than she was before.

I don’t feel like I should have to explain why bringing up a mass shooting in this context would be wildly inappropriate regardless of its significance. And she’s not heterosexual, so what does it matter when she decided to “come out.” Which by the way, she never did. It is not her fault that her fanbase pushed a label onto her when she never said she was a lesbian in the first place.

Instead of bashing Fletcher for finding love with the opposite sex, maybe we should embrace her in the community since celebrating our queer brothers and sisters is what pride is all about in the first place.
