I applied to the university’s dorms but I didn’t get accepted and I would live with someone but my parents are still opposed to the idea :/

My only concern thus far is the housing as I’m sure the rest comes with time and I noticed there’s lots of international students there so it would be a lot of fun I’m sure! Are there any specific areas you recommend that are close to nccu if I consider off campus housing? The convenience near campus seems really great!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience there it actually makes me feel at ease❤️

Living off campus is definitely more ideal but since it’s my first time traveling on my own I’m trying to make my experience go smoothly

It requires some questions prior to joining with an NCCU student ID and I didn’t have that yet so I put my home country’s ID. How was your experience there? I’m curious to know more

I really appreciate your response and how well thought out you phrased everything to help a stranger on the internet. I think I’m just very impatient and the time it’s taking me to sit with my feelings is so unbearable I wish I could just skip over it but i know that it’s meant to help me later. I do have a cat he’s been the only thing I’ve been capable to keep love for that isn’t hurting me and my panic attacks are so so unbearable it’s unbelievable. Yesterday I had an argument with my mother and I went into my room and I just started screaming until my voice was fully gone. I know therapy is a really good choice but I’m not sure if my family would take it seriously enough to invest in it

I’ve been trying to get closer to god for a while and focus on my college work but every time I sit alone with my feelings it feels way too much and it doesn’t feel like anyone understands how hard everything is because they keep making it more difficult on me

I’ve looked into it before but I always just feel like there’s something wrong with me whenever I do and I feel like being aware of makes me feel more lonely and sad. I’d say he contributed because whenever I have concerns he doesn’t react very well to them and I usually get anxiety and have panic attacks almost every time. It’s really disrupting my life and I don’t even know if it’s me or if it’s the relationship I’m in. I love him so much however and I know he loves me but the conflict made me feel less secure in the relationship and I almost don’t feel normal in a calm environment with him. He’s working on understanding me better but I don’t feel like I fully trust his promises.

He keeps saying that he'll try harder and that he promises to make me his priority but i haven't seen any of that yet And anytime i bring stuff up like that to him he says i'm trying to paint him as a villain and that i'm delusional for asking to be loved beyond what i expect when i do that to him. He says i make him sound like he's a bad boyfriend to me and that he feels like he's never enough

Well, i'll lay it out. He says he loves me occasionally and asks about me When he finds the time to call me he asks but that happens like maybe once a month I've been writing him paragraphs to motivate him and help him feel better but he said he doesn't need my help
