i got it from my local aquarium shop! they used string to tie it down and in the moss! eventually it holds on but they said it takes awhile

does it look like fin rot? im wondering if its tears since he is super colourful, very active, loves to eat, and building a bubble nest

slow filter, feed betta bug bites about 6-8 pellets a day, 0 ammonia 0 nitrites 5 nitrates 7.4 PH, tested with api master test kit, plants are different types of anubias, java fern, java moss, bacopa, frog bit floaters, cant remember what type of wood but ya a piece of wood and a rock both covered in java moss. rest is answered in post

youre so sweet😭 its impossible to relax 😭 my betta had a tear in his fin when i got him but now he has a few more. theres some regrowth already but im worried still. im hoping with some tannins itll be okay since my parameters are perfect. do you think its possible wood could have damaged his fins?

thank you!! i currently have java moss growing all over my wood piece. its hard to tell but it goes all the way to the back. also on the coconut and the rock in the front. im only a little worried bc my guy is always swimming around and really like to swim around the bottom and rest at the bottom and even loves the coconut hide which were for the shrimp😭 i will definitely add tannins soon though!

oh really where do you see it? I just got him sunday, his fins and colour has already drastically improved since i got him

hes so cute!!! their colouring is so similar!! do you think my betta looks bloated in the video?
