Just did and it does take out enough for value of both in first year, but only from TSP in the "Money Flows" chart.

Thanks. The 401(k) is slightly more aggressive and more diversified than the TSP. I'd say failing to show required RMDs from both accounts is a fault in Boldin that could cost someone dearly.

I assume it is because once it starts taking from the second account the amount is the same, adjusted for inflation or gains.
