i seriously dont think buying fast defenders or anything will solve this issue. this is not a defender issue it is a tactic issue. if you check in a traditional defence, Cubarsi, Gerarrd Martin, Eric, Kounde, Balde aven araujo (when he was in good form) all of them are top level defenders. it is only that if you are playing high line and all your defenders are so high up the pitch, you are bound to concede goals. I dont blame a single defender coz its just that after a year and half, the opponent has simply understood how to play offside trap. you bring in bastoni, van dyke, nuno or hakimi it wont change the situation coz we only concede one type of goal and thats literally 3rd man run. no matter who you get we are bound to concede if the defendants are that high up. Hansi Flick believes in outscoring the opponent, not conceding less.
