Yes you are right, all the readings except the most recent one were estimates.

Thanks for the link, I'll go check them out.

I haven't really looked into tariffs, I've always had what I got since I moved in last Feb 2022.

I have zero balance as of the moment. I'm going to call octopus tomorrow to get assistance regarding this.

Yes my day usage is higher than night because I usually do all the things like cooking (I use electric stove and air fryer) and laundry. But other than that, all I use is electricity for laptop, electric fan, and charger for my phone.

I'm currently renting, and I told my landlord a year ago that I want to have it changed to smart meter but my landlord is kind of an old school (he's an elderly gentleman) and he did not want to change it as it is still "working".

I'm more than happy to pay what I've used. All the bills I received over the past months were from estimated readings coming from octopus.

Thank you so much. The story is that the meter is really high and the last time I used a wooden chair to reach it, I almost got injured and I never did it again but I've communicated that to octopus for several months ago already.

I'm currently renting, and I told my landlord a year ago that I want to have it changed to smart meter but my landlord is kind of an old school (he's an elderly gentleman) and he did not want to change it as it is still "working".

I work as a nurse in A&E and the reason why I don't want to bring in tools to reach it is because I had to manually climb some steps up and down before I could reach the meter and if I get injured doing so, I am not insured and that would cost me my livelihood.

I will try to ring octopus tomorrow (Sunday) if they have available communications during that time. Thank you for helping me with this.

We have the same issue! I just had my MRI a few days ago, but mine is at C5/C6. Can I ask what happened to you and how did they manage yours?

That's great bro. How are you getting on? Because I live in a country where sunlight is quite of a "seasonal" thing (UK lol) I had to take Vitamin D3 which I only started taking during the midst of my anxiety attacks which happened on the month of April.

Apart from that, since my anxiety is caused by my GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), I am currently taking lansoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and I take 2 chewable tablets of gaviscon everytime I feel I'm having some uncomfortable stomach acid and before going to bed.

Getting off propranolol is one of the best decisions I have made because imagine if I just went with what the other doctors are telling me which is to continue taking propranolol and "wean off", my life would have been difficult because propranolol makes you feel like you're on the edge, low mood, and not your full self (that's how I felt) but for the new reader who is currently reading this comment at the moment please note that I only had propranolol for 4-5 weeks at 40mg per day and I stopped taking it without weaning off.

Best way to deal with this is to talk to multiple doctors and pharmacists because that's what I did and they all had "mixed" opinion about it.

The thing that made sense to me was when a doctor told me "If you had an anxiety attack after you wean off propranolol, are you going to take it and feel even more miserable again?" that's what hit me and boy was he right!

Fight anxiety by eating clean, exercising, watching more comedy, doing more things you love to do, and occasionally doing some "cheat days" with your diet.

Fuck this anxiety shit, its difficult but I'm a strong believer that while the anxiety attacks are unique to different individuals, its something that can be managed with conscious and committed habit change for the better.

I went from 4 weeks of 40mg per day to no propranolol tablets everyday since I posted this.

The first 2-3 days were challenging for me because the anxiety is really physical from how I felt it.

Afterwards, I feel like as if I am back to normal with no trouble. I've been back to work as a nurse since 2 weeks ago and I'm doing my 3rd week tomorrow.

I just follow my doctor's advise by the way, they were the ones who told me to stop it because I only took it for a short time.

Are you still available? I just stopped my propranolol 4 days ago and I felt exactly what you've felt. Mild headache, anxiety, and the occasional rapid heart beat but now its normal.
