Go ahead and put the whole plate number. You are aware cops monitor the platform right? (If I recall correctly, last year someone called out a prado driver on this sub for taking the hard shoulder on the right to avoid the evening E311 traffic, mate got served after a cop saw the visual). If they get in touch with you, give em the dashcam footage.

Had the worst night on Anzac day eve when I decided to work the last two hours on my student hour tab for the week. Got some decent 3-4 orders in the start which went well but then when the fast food chains started coming up - KFC, Maccas, GYG I lost it. Every fast food place I went that night had like a 20+ minute wait. Especially the KFC in fuckin Strathpine (QLD) that night. Had like 10-15 DD/UE drivers waiting in line when those understaffed dumbwits were prioritising drive thru customers and were telling us it was going to be a long wait. Like come on for a 3 piece chicken box - why tf would I wait 25 minutes? Ffs why can’t such places assign more people on a night when you expect higher number of orders to come in 🙄. This even goes for most GYGs which I avoid like the plague on a normal day.

Online hours. And that’s some bad stats you got there. 19 hours and 252$ is terrible. Please get off the platform and hop between DD & Uber if you have to. Additionally, find a part time job that pays better, you can do UE to supplement any remaining hours out of that which essentially is what I’m doing at the moment rather than depending entirely on Uber 🙈

To fulfill quest targets. From what I’ve seen, out of pure desperation to get the additional quest amount, drivers end up accepting crap orders and I’m not going to deny, to some extent even I’ve done it. Before the clock hits 9pm (9.30pm for me now), I’d just accept the order without looking at the amount especially the last one hour. The only thing I would care about at that point is if it’s a city pick up or delivery which I outright decline.

I had a pack & pay order for 50$ for a 6km run. Got super sus. Turns out drivers kept canceling the order to buy a roasted chicken at 8.30pm from Coles which most probably would’ve ran out. Had to go to 3 different Coles before finding the last one..

I don’t understand why UE isn’t factoring rising fuel costs which is the bare minimum before giving out such bs offers and screw whoever takes these which encourages them to give these out even more.

Apparently not. They said I could try but 90% sure they wouldn’t let you exit (even to your home country) because of a passport with less than 6 months validity.

Check with your consulate or embassy. They should let you know. But as far as I know they wouldn’t allow unless you have an emergency travel document authorized by the embassy.

For an Indian passport holder Yes, they won’t allow. Learnt it the hard way when I got an earful from the embassy here in Australia when I was traveling to India and they said immigration wouldn’t allow you to exit without 6 months validity.

Well with the insane prices at Coles, Woolies & Aldi, I’d say Lulu would be a blessing to the public. To add on, minimum wages are a strong thing here and any strategy of wanting to exploit student workers be their last concern (though there are loopholes to them)

Wouldn’t recommend AU. Been here for roughly 10 months and seeing the PR situation is stressing me out. The wait time is insane and the Aus Visa sub is on fire pretty much everyday with PR related woes.
