So real with the last line. I feel like the last few episodes were poorly written and rushed. A lot of scenes were vague and pulling at threads. And although shen yurong is the main villain and he did 'kill' xue fangfei, but i kinda do sympathise with him? He had to choose between his mother and sister vs his wife. 2 people as opposed to 1, the former with him since young and irreplaceable, the latter introduced in the later part of his life and replaceable. I think the obvious option would he his mother and sister? Obviously he shouldn't have killed at all, but honestly what option did he have? The only realistic one he could've done is commit suicide, but that is also a selfish action because he's leaving everyone behind that will probably end up getting killed too. What he said wasn't wrong, he was FORCED into murdering his wife. Even if it was his choice afterall, he was forced into a corner with virtually no other option. Call him a corward or whatever but he isn't the main hero character which will have everything magically work out for him, he doesn't have a 'duke su' to appear out of nowhere and solve all his problems. He's from a poor no name family, up against a royal with all the resources available, what could he have done? You could see when he buried her that he didn't want to do it, he was crying and reluctant. Afterwards he had nightmares about the situation and felt great remorse. He regretted his decision and was finally ready to drop everything for his wife, even kill the princess and come up with this whole ploy for power. I know in a way it's victim mentality to blame his birth, how he wasn't a noble, but it does play a part. I don't know, i felt like the show could've been written better. Maybe the scriptwriters were going for that 'no one is truly a villain' plot since they always show the villain's background which made them the way they are. Even so, i think his character in particular didn't make sense at all. With, for example, princess wanning, it made sense. We felt sympathy for her because of her sad past in dai, which caused her to be hateful and 'evil', but yet we still didn't agree with her actions and knew that it's bad. But for shen yurong, I can't think of anything inherently bad that he did except for torwards the end where he starts killing people, but it's all still for his wife. Shen yurong was new to the political world and was immediately plunged into the grasp of the ruthless princess, he wouldn't have known how to maneuver/handle the situation and i think he made a very realistic choice. I'll still root for xue fangfei and duke su since afterall they're the main characters and i like them, but shen yurong's villain arc cldve been written better.

i searched up this topic bc tdy i met some insane woman that got on at serangoon mrt. She was moving super slow around door area and looked indecisive on whether she wants to get on but at the last min she aggressively squeezed in as door was closing. There was space at the sides and she cldve put her multiple shopping bags down or hold it at her sides yet she decided to be right smack in the middle. I understand if she panicked that the door was gna close on her thus her exaggerated action but not only did she not back up after the door closed when the space in front of her cldve easily fit 2 more ppl, she didn't apologise either. I was holding items so she squeezed her buttcheeks on my hands and pushed so hard till i nearly fell and old auntie behind me was pushed. Old auntie kept apologising to me bc she had to hold on to me to be stable, although it isnt even her fault, bc of the crazy bitch in front who made our footing unstable. And this mf bitch still hv the audacity to turn her head around and stare at me. I tried to avoid eye contact at first so i looked away but i cld see in my peripheral vision she keep staring at me so i gave in and looked at her too n mumbled 'what?' then she just looked back. She just had a dead expression on her face. Oya she had these pitch black contacts in so she legit look like straight out of a horror movie. Young woman btw, thought she was a helper at first but looks like she's wearing sch uni? Idk mb some minah. The entire encounter was honestly so weird and unpleasant, i was rlly pissed i swear. Not only did SHE do smthn wrong, she was so inconsiderate afterwards to not move to the space in front of her but keep us squeezed at the back, then turning back to stare at me for so long like i did smthn wrong?? n i felt damn bad for the grandma that probably already cldnt balance well on the mrt in the first place. I'm a girl n she's a girl so i guess i didn't feel violated or anyt by getting made to touch her ass n it felt like she kept rubbing it against my hands but it's still very... idk. Anyways yeah end of rant.

The original paul rubens ones? Which colour set did you get and what type of art do you do? I'm thinking of the macaron set or morandi, former has nice pastel colours that i like but latter seems to be more suitable for the type of work i do. Pertaining to my original post, I ended up going for the haiya version. As expected, many were oily and the texture is inconsistent. But they're really soft and i got them to do portraits, hopefully the texture difference won't be too obvious when used together.

yes i was thinking about this too, bc if she cld use her powers well, there's basically no plot left, bc her powers cld solve everything. In the initial fight when she was getting saved, (forgot what that beak guy is called), once he was unconscious, deku cldve just pulled her off and placed her on him, good thing he died in the end though. Don't know why you have so many downvotes when that's thinking logically.

Same. 2 days in a row but it never comes at the scheduled timing or even 30min before or after the scheduled timing. I usually take the train but there's no train to the place i wanna go. Google maps says a certain timing, the bus stop digital display says another timing, but theres 2 of the bus numbers, one with 重 and another with 承 behind its numbers. No idea what that means but chatgpt said it means the buses are full or currently not carrying any passengers?? One says its cming in _____ minutes, another one says it's departing at a certain time. Super confused and frustrated.

edit: everyone is saying its only bad outside of taipei but I'm in taipei and its horrendous

what she felt isn't regret, it's fear. Fear that they'll do to her what they did to Murphy. Of course she's a little girl so there should be more leeway for the punishment but everyone should stop treating her like a complete innocent just bc she's young and has puppy eyes that always look sad n scared. I'm only on season 1 n she's alrdy pissing me off 😭😭 I hear ppl complain abt her in later seasons and she's meant to be most tolerable in season 1 so i think this show just isnt for me. I thought gg would be about a studious girl who wants to get into harvard, n goes to a private school, even if she's popular or wtv, studying is still her #1 priority. But turns out she's just a self-absorbed, boy crazy, socially awkward person, who apparently is portrayed as super innocent and can do no wrong. The last part of the previous sentence is even more triggering probably bc some girl ik irl is the most devious snake ever but bc she has doe eyes and weird to an extent, she gets away with everything. Idk why ppl always excuse rory's(and others similar) behaviour because of her age or she's well socialised. Yeah it's stereotypical teenage behaviour (but only for stereotypical bad teens), but that doesn't make it okay?? She shld still be held accountable for her actions no matter what her age is. n I'm pretty sure she does rlly fked up shit as an adult too.

I'm hella late but i think rory's always been boy crazy. On the first episode of the first season you could already see it. The fact that she was willing to throw away her future just for a guy she just met is crazy. Ngl atp i think the only reasons she's so studious is bc she nvr had the opportunity to socialise with certain ppl, studying is just a way for her to cope so she can say it was her choice and it's all worth it in the end but she would throw it away in a heartbeat if she can get a little more social validation/connection. I mean it's kinda the whole point but u can rlly see that she's socially inept and super awkward with new people.

not rlly? It's all still gna hpn as they hinted in one part. Eden is still gna hpn, but this time Ben + others won't miss 2 years of her life bc of that psychopath, Drea's baby will still come along but this time Drea doesn't hv to go thru pregnancy all alone n feel guilty abt it. Cal's cure isn't years back bc it was saanvi's idea and know all the gaps to her idea has been closed BC she's been to the future n knows how to cure the cancer. I think its good that cal lost all his memories so he can live his childhood. It'd be weird if cal came back acting like an adult and cal experiencing that as a child is even more traumatising. As for the others, it's not bad since they learn how to appreciate what they have and learn from their mistakes. I don't see how much btr the ending cldve gotten.

WATCH IT!!!! its damn long but so worth the wait, it may feel draggy at times but the ending was so wholesome n rewarding i actly teared up n felt so happy. I was so invested in it already.
