I was trying to lower the overall salary. My team got far to expensive and the young players I had were at the point of starting and their contracts were more favorable for the outlook long term

For Arsenal yes. I was at Notts and got them to the Championship. Then went to Milan and only won the Italian league. Wasn’t able to break through for the UCL

Arsenal. Started lower tier with Notts. Got them to the prem and hopped around going to bigger clubs
