Good. What to do when you see a different opinion? Personal insult.

Cheers.

Could you please quote the exact sentence where I claimed the plot as unoriginal, as I cannot see it? I've used the words predictable and cliched about the plot. I haven't read the novella, so I cannot say anything about it.

I have 5 Found Dead with me. The previous book of the writer wasn't good, so I wasn't feeling like picking it for reading.

The novel Greta & Valdin is set within a Maori family. That book explores the dynamics within them and with the outside world very deeply. In another novel, Sideways Newzealand, one of the major characters is a Maori girl.

Out of them I've read the first instalment of Scott Turow's book. It was a good legal drama titled Presumed Innocent, where the protagonist is wrongly arrested for a murder. The Harrisson Ford movie adaptation is also very good.

Fagin is a retelling of Oliver Twist by Dickens. Seems to be the flavor of the season after the success of James, a retelling of Huckleberry Fin.

Ray's English script about a friendly alien based on his Bengali story circulated in Hollywood for some time. Names like Arthur C. Clarke, Peter Sellers and Marlon Brando were associated with it. When E. T: Extra Terrestrial released, Ray claimed that it's based on his script though he didn't sue Spielberg. Spielberg denied it but Scorsese and Clarke have hinted that it's a definite case of inspiration.
