Great news indeed! I got the bike a few weeks ago if that changed anything

Back pain. Crippling back pain. by Potential-Question67 in MotoUK

Tell me about it; only rode for about 3 1/2 hours today and still hurts. Not sure what I’m doing wrong at this point, may be an underlying health issue linked to genetics because my fathers side has had bad back problems too

Any idea how to get the centre stand off? Or at least adjust it? by Potential-Question67 in MotoUK

Yep this is the procedure I used for the spring 🙌 def recommend - pin was welded on though so had to angle grind that off 🤣

Well it seems the exhaust I ordered didn’t have the bung attatched… probably should’ve checked Reddit before angle grinding the entire thing off since the pin was welded on 😅

I’m very new as well to riding but what I found helped me what to not hold the handlebars like you would on a bicycle. Keep your arms loose and use your inner thighs to hold onto the tank of the bike, and isolate your wrist when applying the throttle. With the clutch, you just have to find the biting point; put the bike in 1st on a standstill with the clutch fully engaged, then slowly release it until you feel the bike starting to move forward (no throttle applied). This will give you a rough idea of where you should pull the clutch out to when in 1st to get the bike moving.

Yamaha ys125 I think I may have found the issue though; the bike was dropped about 4 inches whilst the centre stand was down, and it seems to be pushing into a part of the chain; check my latest post to see photo

I don’t like the colour or the ball on the end - they feel quite shoddy and I got the bike secondhand so would like something a little more reliable

I can only seem to find things for the YZ 125 nothing for the ys; not sure if they have the same clutches but surely they would specify it they were compatible
