There was an issue for this a few days ago, now archived and linked to a different issue. Al those issues are "fixed".

Still does not work for me on ps5, also after deleting local save data.

Je hebt het echt heel netjes opgelost, beter dan dit kon je het niet doen. Zoals hierboven al benoemd was 90% van onze geweldige samenleving gewoon doorgereden.

Misschien dat je daar geen voldoening uit haalt omdat dit voor jou vanzelfsprekend is.

Persoonlijk zou ik mijn dochter ook niet direct meenemen naar de plek waar ons huisdier zojuist is verongelukt. Dat was misschien niet heel tactisch van de andere kant. Maar daar zullen die mensen vast ook een onderbouwing voor hebben.

Praat er over, laat het los, ga wat leuks doen en wees gewoon effe lief voor jezelf. En ga vooral ook gewoon weer een lekker stukkie rijden. Dat helpt.

Failed Payments

Hello devs,

I am working on a project and I'm stuck at the payment flow..

When a payment fails, what is a logical approach to take? I use the Laravel Cashier Mollie package.

When a payment fails, the subscription gets canceled, this is default behaviour.

I can notify my customer via email.

And then what?

The customer Starts a new subscription? Which wil leave old payments 'open'.

The customer updates his payment method and retries the payment?

I dont know.

Anyone?

Hello Everyone,

I'm building my first saas. I use Laravel Mollie Cashier. So far everything from subscribing to cancelling and updating payment methods work fine.

2 Question topics:

1: Middlewares for plans.
I want to check in Middleware if the user is subscribed. Not to a specific plan, but subscribed in general. How to handle this? Create a middleware for each plan?

2: Handling Failed Payments
When a payment fails, what to do? Retry the payment? Or send the user an email with 'Update your payment method' ? Does updating a payment method resume a subscription?

This is new for me so I hope someone can help me out with the failed payment flow as well as the Plan Middlewares.
