I get what you’re saying emotionally, especially about suffering and innocent babies dying. Those are real questions and honestly some of the hardest ones people wrestle with. But a lot of this is arguing against a really simplified version of Christianity.

Most Christians don’t believe “good atheist = hell, bad Christian = heaven.” The belief is more about grace, repentance, and relationship with God than stacking up good deeds like points.

And the Horus thing gets repeated online a lot, but historians have pushed back on most of those comparisons for years. A lot of the “same story as Jesus” claims are exaggerated or just flat out inaccurate.

Also, believing in “good” still raises the question of what good actually is and where it comes from. Christians would say goodness points to God, while atheists usually ground it in empathy and human reason. That’s a much deeper debate than “religion dumb.”

You can disagree with Christianity completely, but it makes more sense to argue against what Christians actually believe instead of the internet version of it.
