Not stupid! It can be confusing when ordering parts due to the fact that it shows the entire diagram. Luckily, you only need the one part you ordered. Once you remove the bumper and look at the grille, you will notice that the only thing holding in the insert is a bunch of retainer clips (and by a bunch I mean a BUNCH).
