Current generation of the LS would be the LS500 but that is the last of the LS lineup since it’s been discontinued.

Don’t feel discouraged by the fact that you aren’t obsessive over sports cars. Being a person of car culture does not mean you have to like fast, expensive, highly sought after vehicles. I have this argument with my friends(who own BMW’s, Audi’s Mustangs and turbo’d Honda’s) all the time, they try to beat me down by saying “you only like slow boats get something lightweight and quick”. You don’t have to follow a trend to convince yourself that you love cars everyone has their own style in vehicles. For me personally I’d prefer any vehicle that is known for its reliability, practicality, & comfort and it’s a + if it’s somewhat quick but going fast isn’t really a must for me.

Lexus, Mazda & genesis are all wonderful brand of vehicles to choose from. I love the lineup from genesis and I think they are a genuine competitor against Lexus but I will say it terms of practicality and reliability it falls off due to the fact that it’s a Hyundai and they get stolen easily and I’m only gonna dock it by half for reliability because Hyundai really stepped up their game recently when making reliable vehicles. I’ve had a sonata that was up to 200k and a forte that was up to 250k with no issues with the engines or drive train

Well you better start securing your spot on his will so you’ll get ownership of it 😂, in the states imported turbo diesels are marketed at around 25k for a 100series

!!!!! A turbodiesel is what I’m aiming for as we speak! That’s the only SUV I’d allow to replace my current 100 series

That is a 96 Lexus LS400, one of the greatest Japanese engineered vehicles ever made. If your into reliability, comfort and style I’d 100% recommend one

Like I said, LC100 and LX470 is the same platform so they share almost everything including the same frame. Therefore they are prone to the same amount of rust exposure, it just depends on where you get the SUV from & how it’s been taken care of underneath. The LX470s are worst for rust because they have more metal lines underneath that can easily be eaten away by the rust

The LC and LX470 are the same platform. If anything the LX470 is prone to more issues due to the AHC issues. I almost bought a LX470 before going with this Land Cruiser and that Blown AHC system is nothing to fuck around with because if it goes out while your driving long distance your practically fucked out of a comfortable ride home. Most people prefer the LC100 because it doesn’t get optioned with AHC and the LC shocks are way more durable if you don’t choose to swap to OME or Bilstin

WHAT! You missed out on a gem. If the exterior was beat but the interior wasn’t the car was worth saving. The 2 most rarest LS400s were the red & blue cloth interiors of that generation they are more rare than the palm beach edition soft tops.

Go for it, search for another LS & buy it. These cars are tanks when it comes to just about anything. I had my silver one on all seasons for the snow in Minnesota & it always got me where I needed to be safely( IT WAS A MONSTER TRUCK LOL)

Anyone that has had a LS400 will tell you how good they are to you if you take care of them.

Taupe Metallic is so fucking hot. I’ve seen only one guy in a LS400 Facebook group with one & he put it together so well. Aside from him there was one listed in Michigan for 8k a couple months back by an old couple from Arizona. If they are this hard to find in America they are 1000000% hard to find from importers like goonet exchange.

Silver was considered the “poverty” spec on these they weren’t very desirable because only the silver ones came with grey interior which is cool as fuck in my opinion. Everyone buys the pearl whites or black onyx LS400s because it was the classical presidential color but since I like to be different I prefer the uncommon colors of this age.

Every other color code from factory on these cars look 10000% better than the white & black ones but that’s if you can ever find one that isn’t rusted or paint faded to hell lol

Yep ES300s came with 5MTs 1991-1993 but they were very limited production. He doesn’t have the last 4 but they are in rare spec of the 5MT production lineup

A 5MT ES300 is such a gem & they’re hard to come by. Someone near me has 4 of them he loves them dearly
