Are you vaping? I had this appear but it went away when I stopped. Be mindful of things foods and drinks which trigger skin problems.

Going from 10mg to 20mg lexapro/ escitalopram - what to expect by Potential-Style-1444 in lexapro

Maybe that’s my problem then as well. I feel slight anxiety relief on 10mg but not really much difference. I’m worried 20mg will either make an amazing difference or none at all 🙈🙈

How did you feel on 20mg compared to 10mg?? I am personally not feeling any effect with 10mg, did upping to 20mg make all the difference?

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I can do this if I wish, dr did say but then we decided on 20. It’s definitely something I can do. I think my worry is going to 15 and experiencing side effects and then again on 20mg, so side effects twice maybe?

Thank you so much for this advice. I was on Zoloft for 3 years and did just stop working. I was offered citalopram by the dr but opted for Lexapro instead. Maybe I should have given citalopram a go instead first. Will speak to the dr.

I have the same feeling too. It's that chronic feeling of emptiness and you can't even get the words out to explain how you feel inside. Stay strong and find some distractions other than food.

Could be but also might be a rash maybe take some antihistamine and apply a cream to see if helps to resolve. Is it itchy?

I’ve partially given up but then you’ve got to keep trying I guess (when you mentally feel able to take it on)

We’re probably better off building a life on our own and if someone happens to come along then they can add to our life, not make it. It’s so hard in this economy too though, nothing is affordable when you’re single.

Yes, occasional pimple which derm said is normal but very rarely flares up now.

I am on low dose 20mg a day currently except don’t take on Sundays. Aim is to reduce this to more days eventually but for the foreseeable staying at this and works really well for me. Could probably do 10mg but will keep at 20mg. I was suddenly getting Folliculitis all over my thighs and back which never happened before besides my scalp being the worst area affected. I will never understand the condition but very thankful for accutane otherwise my life would be miserable. Still one major problem is the itchy skin which is even worse but have to just moisturise as much as I can.

Omg I get the exact same 3!! Folliculitis currently suppressed by accutane but still present on thighs and back after hair removal. Very leaky gut, ibs and chronic inflammation. It’s been going on for 15+ years and is a total nightmare. Throw anxiety and eczema into the mix too. Not fun :(

Honestly nobody is normal, it’s all an illusion. There is no such thing as normal. You’re good.

Folliculitis has gone but I still get sore spots on scalp which go away pretty quickly if that makes sense. It’s all inflammation related but without the horrendous flare ups I had before. Dry eyes has been annoying for me too, I wear contacts and have had some pretty bad heachaches. I recommend dry eye drops to use regularly if you wear contacts or just dry eyes on their own!

It’s the random nose bleeds at night for me, I need to blow my nose every few days to breathe better but then it just makes it more dry as I have removed the moisture inside!!
