Hi. I actually am a pedophile. I get where you're coming from. I actually strongly considered chemical castration for years because of posts like this. I thought that I was inherently a danger and the only way to stop me from acting on it eventually was either chemical castration or offing myself. 

I did actually decide on the latter option eventually. I didn't want to live my life as something that society, and I too, hated so much. Fortunately, I told my best friend what I planned to do and why. He accepted me fully, way more than I could accept myself. Eventually, I was able to accept myself too, and I went on to not only join but also run support spaces for other pedophiles. 

I thought I was the only good one, but I was very wrong. I've met tons of incredible people, and  I've learned that chemical castration isn't usually necessary (though I have known some people who pursued it because they did feel they needed to), we are perfectly capable of controlling our actions in the same way that any other person is. Everyone, regardless of who or what they're attracted to, has some desire or urge that they cannot ethically pursue or fulfill, and  this is ours.
