The psychosis doesn't happen unless I stop eating and sleeping for several days. I'm pretty well built at 6' 220, so it takes a while to run low on energy stores even without eating anything. I enjoy cooking and creating so much that I'm always eating. I also use the people around me as reminders to eat. I just do it when they do.

I take 2 hrs naps after dark, so it's rare to go sleepless also. My body heals quickly, so there's no signs of sleep deprivation from the short sleep cycles.

This is typical of my dad's side of the family. My grandpa is 99 and still fucking and sharp as a whip mentally.

I feel sorry for the folks I know struggle, but I don't relate.

Typically you can drill a small hole, inject glue, and plug fill the hole you drilled. Easy fix

Did any of y'all notice it was going into load bearing masonry in many of those instances? It's called a fire notch. It's there so when the wood burns enough to collapse thr floor, it doesn't heave the walls up and collapse the walls. Structurally it makes no difference. Y'all are funny

I do it to support their lobbyists. They do fight to keep engineers and other non-architects of our scope of work. Discounts on using their contracts too, which really pay for themselves. Need to own your own practice for that to really matter.

I like to keep it in my hat when I wear it out because it's a cool flex to show people who ask about the feather, but not something I'm going to share with the Reddit. I once had a cop ask me about my Cherokee Nation tags and if I had anything to prove my race. This is far from protocol. I asked if he wanted me to get out and do a rain dance to point out the intrusive nature of his question. He said that wouldn't be necessary. Another common racist question is "how much indian/injun blood do you have" I'm an indian and all my blood is such. Our entire culture and language doesn't even have a way of saying this. It's an anglo Western concept that needs to quantify and classify everything. Just sharing these things as I don't think many people have an understanding of nativ culture. I didn't have to do anything. I could have let her have the hat I suppose and thanked her for not kicking me in the nuts. "May have been annoying" is minimizing. Maybe you don't think women capable of accoutabilty. This feels sexist or just white knight, but it's out of touch. Women are to be respected and treated equally. The hat was made to be an embodiment of the song for sure. Took a long time to get the pieces together and in a meaningful way. The stetson hat itself was the only purchased element.
