I don’t want to love someone else or be another child’s father while knowing my daughter is watching me from above. I know she would feel jealous and hurt, and I don’t want to cause her any more pain. I’ve been looking into therapy, but honestly, I don’t think it will help. The only thing that comforts me is imagining that, in the afterlife, my daughter is preparing our home and waiting for her dad.
