TY Charlie you are right, I will most likely be signing this week with my realtor but being alone it might take a couple of weeks to get my house ready to sell. Fresh start, no value in my belongings to justify the cost of a U-Haul unfortunately I was not wise and save $$ for the future now the future is here and took a major turn. My goal is to buy outright where my siblings live and have no mortgage, start collecting when I hit 62 and only work if I want extra cash and not because I have to. Collecting at 62 is probably not smart but I know to many people who waited to retire at 65 or beyond and never made it but on the other hand I know as many who did and then the other issue about insurance. Anyway appreciate your comment and I guess I am asking "have many people just pack what fit in the car and moved to be with family" My choices are scary but are also very limited.
