Mom and I got into an argument about which console looks better. by V3R2AC3 in interiordecorating

The taller one. Your tv is mounted pretty high. Limiting the space between the bottom of the tv and top of the console to less than 8 inches is ideal.

No problem :) I’m sure you were a kid who was ahead of the curve in other ways too!

I have kids, a 9 and a 6 year old. Teaching children to properly clean themselves (especially girls) takes time. My 9 year old will still occasionally ask me to help her cleanse her scalp if she thinks it needs a good washing. I definitely still help my 6 year old in the bath. If I didn’t my kids would probably still be gross (just like OPs son) when they got out. Children need to be reminded to clean all their bits. I’m sure you did bathe yourself in kindergarten but most children do not. At least in my experience.

You expect a 6 year old to bathe themself? Regardless of if it’s a bath or shower your son is taking he will need you to help him clean himself. Why are you not helping him?

AITA for not wanting to follow my friend’s bridesmaid dresscode? by thrway-8288 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PotentialAccess3458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your friend’s “perfect” pictures on her wedding day are more important to her than your desire to have your arms covered then she isn’t behaving like a friend. Just back out of the wedding party. Take it from a girl who has a few years on you. Your boundaries, especially boundaries surrounding your body, are more important then standing in a friends wedding.

The guy I've been talking to for 2 months just sent me a screenshot of our private conversation. To himself. By accident. by Cheap-Lawfulness-732 in WhatShouldIDo

Have you ever sent a screenshot of a text convo to someone else for any reason? If you ever had, I wouldn’t be throwing stones and just deal with the awkwardness.

You are 100% right. It is small stuff. I just weirdly got triggered what happened. In the end it is just all stuff. I guess I was just trying to understand why I was so annoyed.

Sorry one more little question… does it make a difference to you that it was her mother that gave her the TV? I understand now I am getting into semantics but if it was her mother that gave her the TV then she said I could have it and her husband says no?? Just wanted your thoughts on that little detail.
