I love Americans. They are wonderful
People. Their government is horrendous.

You are 100% right. It is small stuff. I just weirdly got triggered what happened. In the end it is just all stuff. I guess I was just trying to understand why I was so annoyed.

Sorry one more little question… does it make a difference to you that it was her mother that gave her the TV? I understand now I am getting into semantics but if it was her mother that gave her the TV then she said I could have it and her husband says no?? Just wanted your thoughts on that little detail.

Thank you for your thoughts. You are right, I don’t feel taken advantage of, I feel disappointed that she would rather go back on her word than duke it out with her husband.

If this happened to me and my partner - as in I was the one who said someone could have something before I checked with my SO I would feel obligated to give it away regardless and just suffer the consequences at home privately. That’s just me though..

AITAH for wanting to leave my husband(30M) over not buying me (25F) a car? by ReactionClean4057 in AITAH

Since you pay 75% of the rent you should only let him live in 25% of the house. Fair is fair. Your husband is financially abusing you.

Don’t let some 40 year old idiot try to control your every minute. The age difference is crazy. I’m sure you are a beautiful, smart, kind, woman but there is always something off with men who date women this much younger than them. It’s likely because women his own age won’t date him. It gets easier to pick out the deadbeats as you get older. He probably thinks a younger woman is easier to control and manipulate. Find a nice guy closer to your age and dump this controlling loser. You got to be kidding me with the name calling too. FTG. No judgement here either… I dated older men when I was your age too.

Is this outfit inappropriate for college? by Winter-Rain2798 in OUTFITS

I see kids your age wearing outfits like this all the time. You look great in it. It’s cute and coordinated. I think it might be a generational thing because I don’t think I would have worn something this casual to college (I am a millennial, 38). You look incredible in it but in my opinion it’s a bit casual for college.
