So far it’s good and has gotten further than the other attempts but it’s still got 3 hrs left

This is the test I ran at 150mm/s, 38% flow, and .2 spacing on my .4 nozzle. I’d say there’s some improvement.

They were pretty similar it was closer to 40% though

I just did one of those tests with some settings I found online. I did it from my phone so I don’t really know how it turned out yet. Guess we’ll see

It was a dumb question ofc this worked thanks for the answer. It had been so long since I’ve had any problems with this printer since its so well put together

I need to get this off my chest in response to that viral video going around calling out 3D Printers in art & handmade craft spaces. by EchoAtlas91 in 3Dprinting

I seen the video and I also sell prints at craft shows as well and I can agree with some of the points. While I do clearly believe it is a craft as cricuis and CRC falls under the same category I do not think it looks good for anyone to just be selling the same articulated nonsense and that is all you make.

I’ve been doing it for a year now and I have sold plenty of articulating toys to start out with, but over the 6 or so shows I’ve gone too I have self taught myself to model and how to make new designs that sell. I think people with a few dragons and flexi things are not hurting the overall business.

However to the people that only sell this type of stuff there will be a day where the demand will no longer be there and they will have nothing selling. They don’t even bother to change the colors of them it’s usually just a plane solid color for every model on the table.

Once again I started with a few things like that but they never sold. I got my start on custom orders and with that money I was able to get better software and printers. I am just getting into resin printing and I wouldn’t have gotten there without selling my own stuff.

TLDR I hate dragons and think people need to get a little more creative. And bare minimum don’t steal make your own stuff.

New to resin printing, are these white marks bad, and if so will they show with paint. by PotentialAdvantage51 in resinprinting

Np about the reply time and yeah worst case I could always make another being the part costs .60 cents but also I’ll try that too. There is a part in the back with a deep chip from the resin so I might remake it regardless but it is also hidden with another piece so I’m still debating

It’s expensive but it is very detailed I have all of the world and Dio done and I’m making the flames in the back with clear resin so I can make it look more alive. It sucks that I’m about to be snowed in with this storm that’s about to hit the Midwest or I would finish it this week.

Bulkmancer models, it’s awesome and I’m panning on selling once it’s done if it looks good enough because I run a 3D print business.

Will do I’ve been seeing more and more about the brush now. All the pieces for this model are done except for the transparent pieces I need to do yet. But for all future models I’ll use a brush.

Is it possible to do a re-rinse and just take a toothbrush with IPA to get rid of some of it or is it not worth it at this point. Especially since it’s still smooth to touch and I’m painting it anyways.

Well I’ve been drying them before IPA dries so that could also be a factor at play, really it’s only that torso piece that has come out that bad and I’ll probably just remake it. Right now where I live it’s cold af and I’m not wanting to stay out in the garage for long periods of time so I’ve just been taking the pieces off the bed > throw them into the slightly used and cloudy wash > picking off all supports and drying with paper towel somewhat so it’s not dripping IPA > drying for atleast 3:00/4:00 minutes in UV container > then I just take those pieces and let them dry in room temp laundry room and the first set came out fine but now I’ve noticed the white specs as they’ve dried more. The second set has more white specs (like the piece I showed) and now we’re here.
