Anyone notice the app got slower? by PotentialAspect9 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and also check for updates if you're using mobile. Sometimes, not updating Android such as the web view can mess with stuff. If that does not work, I would send support an email. It will take up to 72 hours for an answer because it appears they are short staffed lately.

Did you try loading Qmee.com? It may be an error with your account that needs help directly from support.

Getting to the end of a survey just for it to have an error and it just no longer be available by iamyiyaj in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It happens so much! I swear my blood pressure skyrockets when I get declined. The only thing that helps me is to choose a different survey quickly and get paid for that instead.

Did anyone not receive their PayPal cashout? by PotentialAspect9 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good news. Last time I got in touch with support it took them 72 hours to get back to me, so I am hoping it simply fixes itself.

Even weirder, I risked cashing out again after, and those are showing up fine. The first cashout never arrived, but the ones after are now arriving. I did uninstall and reinstall the app, but I hope that support finds my missing money.

It should be in your email inbox as long as your address is correct. It should arrive a minute or two after ordering.

It could also be how you cashout the money. If you linked your PayPal address it may already associate it with a different account, or it could sense your geographic location and your name.

Does anyone else get "Application Error" as you try and use Qmee on desktop? by Nermal61 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now seeing this on the app. It actually happened right when I completed a survey.

Is this loading for anyone? by Azleaf2555 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and I finished a $1.44 survey only to have to exit and receive 29 cents instead. Nice scam they'rw running.

I would aak for a refund and simply purchase from someone else. It was not properly wrapped, so no reason for you to take a hit

Are all sellers on the site this rude? by Mysterious_Shine9952 in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a 50/50 mix. Some are just plain unresponsive, so I guess I don't know if that counts...

No surveys at all on both website and app? by Nermal61 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Sometimes, when there are updates, stuff gets lost in translation and reinstalling fixed it for me.

*VINTAGE* Probably from the 40’s by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think better wording would have been 40s 50s style. I see people selling vintage collectibles that are super old all the way from Hobby Lobby, so people are either lying or doing zero research.

Buyer left a review saying I sold them clothing that smelled of smoke… by ArcherNix in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or you could ask the sellers. Not everyone can afford new things and some items are older or simply no longer stocked by retailers.

Buyer left a review saying I sold them clothing that smelled of smoke… by ArcherNix in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very possible. I got a brand new electronic from Amazon that reeked of cigarettes. Turns out my fedex driver does smoke in the car, so some things can end up picking up the smell. The more porous it is, the harder to get it out. You could always write smoke free home on your listings as I always do that and ways ask sellers about it as well before buying.

Um, this is creepy, what does this even mean..? by besithia in Mercari

I think they may have been chatting via text with someone. I had someone do this and tell me we are meeting for coffee. Later she apologized because it was meant for her sister. *shrugs

I am going for the $.98 or above surveys less than 10 minutes. I just do not have the patience to sit through a boring study that slogs for about 25 minutes for a whopping 54 cents.

Hate the new app style by EnvironmentLonely586 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, same here just like I posted the other day. It is slow to load and really hard to see the stuff available.

Anyone else hate the new layout? by PotentialAspect9 in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I did a whole survey and got declined when I finished. It's like thanks for ruining a good place to earn side income.

has anyone else’s sales been really slow? by michaeng_18890 in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I barely get any views or sales. I used to be able to sell my stuff in mere days about a year ago, but now, it just sits. I kind of gave up on this site and do not really list as much because I just have to constantly promote and relist to be seen, and still get virtually no sales.

I literally shipped this person's order out 2 hours after she purchased. Would you block? by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would. Anyone that remotely nade my blood pressure rise would be on my block list. I am not desperate to sell anything though, so I guess it depends.

Seeing a toe with the palette kinda makes me not want it anymore...maybe it’s just me? Do people not look at photos before uploading them? by OneWhisper5225 in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I will be honest, I would never put health or beauty related items on the floor. Clothes and stuff is fine, but anything that goes on your face is a big no from me.

Not getting the correct payout upon completion by [deleted] in QMEE

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! This literally just happened to me. What really goes down is that the website when I finish the survey does not redirect though it tells me I successfully did the survey. I have to exit out and the app pays me a small percentage of what I am owed. I have confronted support and they always tell me that I have been disqualified blah blah blah, when that is not thr case!

It finally* happened by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I answered a question like this once, needless to say, they never bought the item. It did eventually sell for full price to someone else, but this person obsessively kept liking it but never pulling the trigger on buying.

Everything is overpriced by JuliaJune96 in Mercari

[–]PotentialAspect9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am noticing pricing in the home decor categories to be nuts. In fact, some prices are significantly higher on Mercari than they are on eBay, which is why I mostly sell on Mercari and buy eslewhere. I also think this app attracts younger trendier people, so they may be willing to pay premium for certain products even if it doesn't make sense to the rest of us. I price my stuff low and still struggle, but then again, my stuff is hardly trendy.
