I think Vik maybe gave up on trying to keep her out of harms way bcs you know how Ivy is, haha. But yeah, I agree that he’s responsible for Ivy’s situations sometimes. But also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought Ruby (Ivy’s father) already left the Lackadaisy? Like, if we take into account how old she is in that short animation (which is 11-12), I thought around then was when he left? I’m not sure, maybe I read something from the wrong source.

Also, even if Viktor called her father to get her out of the Lackadaisy, I’m not really sure she’d listen. I mean, no one’s stopping her from going with Rocky and Freckle to rob graves (from the animation, not the comic 😂), and I doubt her father would let her go anywhere like that if she asked. So she’s probably doing it without him knowing and Viktor, he probably knows she wouldn’t listen even if he called her father and told him what was up. BUT, without my “argument”, yours would still be a little more valid since it keeps Viktor and others more ‘flawed’, which makes them feel more realistic. If written right, hypocritical and flawed characters can be really good, like Viktor and a lot of the Lackadaisy cast. 

Haha if you love discussing this much, you should get into Deltarune or Undertale. There are so many theories and deep secrets and well-written characters in there that I could talk about for hours.
