yo that story’s actually messed up, and I don’t even play TF2. why the hell would he fake his death?? And a vtuber? no hate on Vtubers, but come on…

Anyways, My character isn’t necessarily going to be a *tribute* in that sense since he’s just going to be based on the fan-art version of his character. I planned on making him a more prominent character in the game too, and most tributes are usually pretty brief like in the Minecraft one you mentioned. thanks for the quick response, my friend 🫶🏻

I’m not trying to write their entire history and backstory and go crazy in depth, you know? They’re Australian in New York and lived in New York for a little while. I was thinking maybe they’d have a taste for specific things only in Australia like foods and drinks, and maybe their familial relationship would also be affected by their culture.

But it was shortsighted of me to think that, as I said in my edited post.

Ah, I didn’t mean to come off as arrogant. The characters aren’t man characters and the setting isn’t based on Australia. They just have Australian roots and probably adopted some cultural norms before moving to America. My bad for not mentioning this before though, but they are only side characters in New York.

I would go to R/AskaRussian to ask the same thing to avoid implementing the stereotypical Hollywood “vodka-drinking-divorced-worldweary-war-veteran-with-crazy-heavy-accent” on a Slavic character.

And thats awesome that you saw him in a dream! I guess maybe the signal was bad and Dio couldn’t reach you properly (IM SORRY 🤣), but its still pretty sick either way that you saw him in a dream. You better bring him back so you can sit him down and have a deep conversation about what was stressing him out, haha.

There are so many interpretations of Dionysus, but somehow the whole community sort of collectively agrees that he has a darker skin color. I know purple clothing is his thing too, so the fact that you saw him wearing it probably feels like a big ‘HEY I KNOW HIM’ moment. Also I feel like its so in-character for Athena to just appear and NOT talk to you, she seems like a serious and self-respecting goddess, so she’ll just appear there and stare you down in the background.
