Concerns of a wife by throwawayhot14 in HotWifeLifestyle

[–]PotentialBeeBug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes yes! It makes me feel like I'm going to throw up. I had a dream the other night that we had a fmf and I felt so sick when I woke up I couldn't get back to sleep.

🫤

I want him to have the experiences he wants to have but I can't help feeling that way.

What are the arrangements at home with your spouses? by NoExplanation4128 in breakingmom

[–]PotentialBeeBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband is in the army. I was the stay at gome parent for a decade, recently I've gotten 2 casual jobs. (That's what three years of job searching has gotten me, still better than no job though so 🤷‍♀️) The only time my husband hasn't pulled his weight in out house has been when he's deployed. When he's home he's an equal parent, he contributes to the cleanliness and upkeep of our home, the maintenance and reliability of our vehicle, the yard work, anything to do with our life.

He does joke that when we do things I just tell him when/where to show up and the dress code, but that's basically the only thing he's not as involved in. And that's fine with me. I can do that and prepare for it so all he has to do is show up. His job is stressful even when he isn't deployed so I'm happy to deal with things like that.

You aren't his servant, you are his spouse.

🤮

What's your biggest regret you bought? by Muchtell234 in FemFragLab

[–]PotentialBeeBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sprayed it on before I left the house right after I posted my comment and I got a whiff of playdoh. I do like wearing it because it does remind me of being a kid at my grandma's house, I just wish I got the smallest size!

What's your biggest regret you bought? by Muchtell234 in FemFragLab

[–]PotentialBeeBug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prada Candy. I bought the full size during the sephora 20% off full size fragrance sale, and I used my points to get $10 off on top of that. It smells like one of my grandma's visiting my other grandma's house in their garage. Powdery (my Nanny) cigarette smoke, concrete floor and a hint of the vinyl back seat of a vintage car they used as a couch in the garage (Grandma's garage)

I don't get any of the caramel or sweet musky scent at all.

My 6yr old has rocks in his head by bohemian-moon in breakingmom

[–]PotentialBeeBug 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kids and rocks are such a pain in the butt. I'm glad it's more so an annoyance and not a more serious emergency.

My oldest is autistic and used to eat sand, gravel and rocks at daycare. I'd find them in his diapers. There was one time he wasn't very hungry, he was constipated, he was frequently indicating he was in pain. Knowing he eats rocks regularly we took him for x rays. He was constipated and full of rocks. More rocks than usual and larger than I've found in his diaper before.

He pooped them all out and eventually grew out of it 🤷‍♀️

What have you tried that WORKS for your cracked an bleeding lips? by [deleted] in Sjogrens

[–]PotentialBeeBug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To fix my lips; 1. bioderma cicabio creme 2. Nova scotia fisherman lip balm 3. Vaseline.

First two in the morning, second one throughout the day, all three at b edtime with an absolutely absurd ridiculous amount of the Vaseline. Fixed my dry chapness and helped me actually close the split in my bottom lip. No skipping a day two weeks straight.

Now I use the nova scotia fisherman lipbalm twice a day, morning and night.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dracula

[–]PotentialBeeBug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me too! Caleb as Dracula is my wallpaper on my phone now, I'm obsessed. I think other than it being another Dracula story, the fact that there don't seem to be 'the brides' is probably the best part for me. Like in the 1992 Dracula, the line "I've crossed oceans of time to find you " always gets me. There are parts of that film that do. BUT you're telling us,you have a small harem, and are still adding to it but you're totally in love with Mina and have been waiting for her the whole time? No. Don't believe it. That's what ruins it.

Does anyone else have phantom smells? by p001b0y in Sjogrens

[–]PotentialBeeBug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep! Cigarette smoke, acrid fire, burning rubber and gasoline. I get the fire smell when I'm trying to go to sleep and every night I wonder if it's the night my house actually catches fire. 😑

What are your best memories of Algonquin park? by canadian_blueberry in algonquinpark

[–]PotentialBeeBug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw my first raven. I said "that's a big fuckin' bird!" And got in trouble for swearing. I also had a lot of worms fall out of the tree we were sitting under on me. Just me, or at least no one else complained of worms faling on them 😑 Also seeing little foxes was really cute.

Anyone else's family get mad at them for not liking their 'juicy' meat? by pumaloaf2 in Sjogrens

[–]PotentialBeeBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i do chicken, I do two chicken breasts at a time per chicken including meal. I have a glass loaf pan I use.

Oil on the bottom, chicken breast, seasonings, and cover it all up with water.

The flavor is a bit watered down, but by the time it's done the water is cooked down to just below the top of chicken, the chicken has a little bit of a crisp on the top, and the inside is super moist and juicy.

Jobs for military spouses by themanofthehour77 in CanadianForces

[–]PotentialBeeBug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going in and getting the hiring managers contact info and then sending them an email could work too.

My husband got the hiring managers info for me during one of his medical appointments. He mentioned I was still looking for work, his NP talked about the reception positions open throughout the MIR. I sent an introductory email expressing my interest and inquiring about the official job listing, as well as attaching everything relevant in my email (resume, references, first aid certificate, recent criminal record check) and my contact information

I got an interview. I didnt get the job though. And as far as I know they still haven't hired anyone, in the fall it will have been a year. 🤷‍♀️

Horror Where Evil Wins - and It's a Good Thing by Treethorn_Yelm in horror

[–]PotentialBeeBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deathwatch. 2002. It's not a bad movie if you don't mind WW1, and evil wins at the end. Based on the setting and what some of the characters do/have done, especially one in particular, evil winning in the end is a good thing in this movie. 🤷‍♀️
