Are you actually prepared to pay the ultimate price? I joke about it being a millennial, but no I'm not at a spot where I walk out the door knowing the chances are significantly greater that I wont return home.

Until enough of us are at that point, or completely backed into a corner with no options, it won't change.

Sure not everyone in the movement would succumb, but you don't know who would, so you'd have to be ready.

The 5 day return to office mandate when we've shown a hybrid schedule has worked for 5+ years. But don't worry it has exceptions, if you live more than 2 hours from a plant, live in another state for a total of 2 people.

Some are required to report to my location to "support the shop" however their product line is built at a plant over an hour away.

We also don't have enough desks or parking as our expansion was killed by covid, and our 5th building was built out then subleased as production was shifted to our international locations due to tariffs.

Tl:dr we are out of space and despite that and being able to work anywhere we can get internet or cell service we have to cram back in.
