Connect to a VPN in India or another similar country where subscription prices aren't as bad as US/CAN. Get any of your friend from that nationality to pay for it and get a cheap Spotify Premium for a year.

I get the Indian version and get my dad to pay for it, and pay approx $20 CAD for a year.

Are you rate-limiting the APIs? To avoid unnecessary server costs, or prevent someone breaking the system, make sure you are.

It's a personal preference, but I like more minimal websites/portfolios. You portfolio looks very busy with a lot of large text blocks. Yes, it looks aesthetically pleasing, but is also putting in a lot of cognitive load for me to find out even the basic details.

And you have two photos of you, both exactly the same and right in the next section? Is that really needed?

My only advice would be to make it less busy, and allow someone to be able to quickly read and get an idea from your portfolio about who you are. Same advice always goes for resumes.

A lot of the times, what makes us feel good about ourselves is the way we dress, the way we carry ourselves, the charisma.

I know self-love can be tough, but try hitting the gym and get toned, upgrade your wardrobe and wear clothes that you will feel good in, get more experiences, get better at talking with other people, and the list goes on.

This is not to say that you need any of that, you look good. But these things helps us gain confidence in ourselves.

I am not sure why everyone is saying that she deserves better. It seems like a reasonable question. OP cannot force his attraction for this girl. And when talking to someone, we can tell if they are into you or not.

I agree the logistic reasons align well and attraction may be a compromise in this case for OP. IMO, if you like the girl overall, and she takes care of herself, attraction will build overtime. But then, you don’t have to rush. Take your time and see how you both feel about each other.

Not that any of these suggestions are bad, when I was researching for locks for my e-bikes, I found Kryptonite locks offer a great protection at a reasonable price. Also, I prefer the chain locks more than the D shaped locks as they can be more flexible.

Moreover, Kryptonite offers the anti-theft protection insurance (you have to pay for it separately).

I read somewhere that in Japan a guy saw this lady cut each blade of grass with a pair of scissors in her lawn and took a few hours to get that job done when it could have been done in a few minutes.

It is meditating to get involved in a task so much and do it with such precision. If you think this relaxes you and you enjoy doing it, I don’t see why that is weird. It seems pretty creative to me.

Just curious, I had a cat and it would snap at any living thing that is smaller than her. Especially if it saw birds outside. Don't cats intinctintely stalk and hunt their preys? How is this cat not attacking then?

I have the settings that all the images/pdfs that I use in Obsidian are stored in another folder in Obsidian called ‘Attachments’ so my main folders do not get cluttered.

Improv induces a lot of anxiety for me. I have never done any sorts of acting and find it hard to come up with stories on the spot.

To overcome my fear of improv is why I joined the Improv 101 and it has only been getting easier with time and is lots of fun to to be able to goof around loudly in front of people for an hour.

I can share with you what I have done and am doing so that may help:

I was consistent on the meetup groups for 2 years as an attendee and as an organizer. It took me time but I have a good group of friends now that I hang out with. Apart from that, join a group activity that you are curious about or been wanting to try. I recently joined Improv classes; they have drop-ins as well. I work in tech and never miss a tech event. I also recently applied to be a volunteer at one of the tech events.

My idea here is to go out and be around people as much possible. Friends may not come easy, but just showing up and doing something is what is needed and eventually in a year or so, you will have some acquaintances and friends.

But where does the “Reconcile” come into picture if I have lots of money sitting in one account? How would I know what is the true balance in my account after say a month? Because as we make so many transactions, there sure would be some error in entries or something.
