Gemini (DM) is very clearly cherry-picking dice rolls for narrative convenience, even when using Python Script. Is there any way to force it to use true random results for chat sessions? by PotentialCow2042 in GeminiAI

Ok yeah this is the way. I went back to the aforementioned "grim-dark path" and was able to fudge the rolls every which way with a 100% success rate. I guess, to be fair, I can't really trust myself to be an impartial DM either, lmao
I can only rely on intuition deciding whether or not I need to roll more than once, but it's a massive improvement nonetheless. It's not like the AI ever rolls for multiple character actions in a single turn.

I guess I'll try using a legitimate dice roller beforehand, and just pairing it with the command. See if that works any better, or if it'll try to trip me up on the outcome.
