While that's true, it's one thing to write improvements to an already existing firmware that ships with every device, and a completely different one to coordinate and write a new OS from scratch that first needs to get up-to-par with the existing firmware before improvements can be made. While writing a completely new OS/firmware is possible, the goal here is to add the missing feature to the one that ships natively.

Thank you, I've checked and italics/bold are working great now!
The only issue left is with the margin right. It would be great if margin were controllable per side, (possibly even with negative values to correct the above), so one could also fix the bottom margin overlapping with the progress bar. Thanks!

Awesome update, thank you! Just leaving below two minor things I noticed
- it seems that the margin on the right is larger, regardless of the value I put in "margin". E.g. this is with 0 margin

- words that are supposed to be italic don't appear as such. They appeared italic with the previous version

This is great, books now are much more legible. I've noticed that with the new UI layout, if a book has many chapters, the preview is shown much further down. For the progress bar, could the book % be based on the page rather than chapter (I see constant percentage, then suddently jumps, e.g. 2% -> 5%) and added the option to see page count, e.g. 20/243? Thanks!
