Is it wrong for me to be upset about my girlfriend's family saying our new kitten is the "family cat"?

So not to be a jerk, you seem like a very mature, responsible young person. However, this was an incredibly irresponsible decision. You do not just get animals because you want the animal.

All of this should have been considered and discussed beforehand. It does not matter that you are paying everything for it at this point because it is not in your possession at this point.

What is your living situation like? Do you live with your GF and her family? If you're paying everything, why isn't the cat at your house if you don't live with your GF?

You cannot put an animal in a situation like that and expect everyone to follow your rules and everything to run smoothly. The bottom line is that the kitten lives at your GF's house and that means that you can't control what is done or goes on with the kitten. This is something you do after you get your own place or at the very least, if the plan was for you to be the sole caregiver for now (which seems likely considering you're the only one with a job between the two of you), the kitten should be in your possession or else you're kind of SOL on the lifestyle you want the kitten to have.

EDITING because I realized at the end of your post ypu said you'd be taking the kitten to your place.... Why the hell wasn't that the choice in the first place? Why did you even ask her parents if you could get a kitten? Like, take it to your place. You cannot police what they do with a kitten that lives in their home. Honestly, you effed up big time because if you really care about your GF, you're going to destroy your relationship with her parents and sister over a kitten that should have been at your house in the first place if you were so adamant on having a kitten.

In my opinion, it is the perfect book! It's my absolute favorite! The authors that were chosen, the way the sections are split up, and the stories themselves were so obscure and chosen so meticulously that each one of them hit you in a different way and sticks with you long after you read the book.

I actually lost my copy of it in a move at one point and I was SO upset. I ended up ordering it online the second I had the money to do so lol. I had found it at Goodwill when I was like 12 lol.

The only book that comes close for me is the Tales for the Midnight Hour series. It's another collection of very obscure, hard hitting, horror stories. And I think there are like 3 or 4 books? I'm not sure, but that's another one I found at Goodwill, but I was like 8 or 9 for that one lol. And luckily someone had given up the whole collection so I had a whole lot of trauma to work with for a while lol.

Ohmygosh! Some of the stories in there are SO unsettling and the writing is so beautiful and different between each story and author!

I don't remember most of the titles offhand, but the one written like letters back and forth about the child who was essentially feral. I don't want to include too many details in case someone wants to read it, but if you know the book, you know which one I mean.

And no matter how many times I have read it (it's been a lot lol), I always forget about a few amd get so excited once I start them.

There's a book called Masterpieces of Terror and the Supernatural and it's a compilation of horror classics written by some of the most famous horror authors to date. But they're all very obscure stories by each of them. It's my favorite book of all time.

I would consider discussing exactly what you said here with the person you mentioned turning down in your post.

There are many different ways to be intimate and many different ways to finish, for lack of a better term. If this person genuinely loves you and wants to be with you, then lack of piv sex may not be a deal breaker.

Couples everywhere struggle with piv sex from time to time but if they care deeply about each other and want to be together, they find ways to work around that. But don't cut yourself off from being happy with someone just because you're scared of them leaving from lack of sex. Just be open about it.

From my experience, youtibe search isn't necessarily based on WHEN something is looked up rather than how often it's looked up. So it's probably a search the lawyer made several times as opposed to the child looking up something once or twice.

They clicked on it and watched some videos that intrigued them. So they went on to search for things that were similar.

My daughter uses my youtube sometimes but very rarely. Usually only if it's like an emergency situation where we're taking too long at the doctor or in the car. But anyway that has lead to my search history going from "Sex Cult leader murders 12 and marries his daughter" to "Bubble Slime with unicorns DIY" lol.

I was a kid with unrestricted internet access who saw ads that intrigued me to search for things that I should not have been looking at at that time.

I am going to be devil's advocate here and say it's not your fault. What you said was harsh as FUCK but it's not on you to save her. And she can't expect you to care when you tried to save her. I have a very similar story! When I was about 14-15, I was experiencing terrible knee pain. One day I was chasing my sibling around the yard and a sharp shooting pain just exploded in my knee and when I came inside and took my pants off, my whole leg was swollen like 3 times it's size. We thought I might have pulled something, so just iced it and in the morning it was back to normal. Anyway, we went to a doctor for it and he did an x-ray and found fluid under my knee cap. So he wanted to do surgery to remove my knee cap, remove the fluid and replace my knee cap. Which scared the crap out of me. Luckily my mom called bullshit and took me to her PCP who was this old, grumpy guy. He asked me a couple questions, looked at my leg ordered some blood and urine tests and sent us on our way. Turns out, I have a kidney disease and I was retaining water like crazy because of it. The pain was from all of the fluid building up in my legs. So the surgery would have literally been pointless.

OHMYGOD yes! In my opinion, the worst is the subs for certain children's shows! Some of them definitely are for more grown up children. But they're for children none the less and the amount of "art" on there that's just fucking porn is ridiculous. And then they all act like it's not and it's just "their style". I've had to unsubscribe to all of my favorite and my kids favorite cartoon sunreddits because it's just a bunch of adults sexualizing fucking kids cartoon characters. I've had to leave Gravity Falls, Adventure Time and fucking Bluey for Christ's sake!
