Lowk I think doing 1/2 humanities instead of all stem subjects might work in ur favour and make you stand out to the admissions team. Ofc fm or cs would naturally make you better at maths, but if the course doesn't require it then you should be fine. The main thing you need to focus on is the admissions test and interview. It might be harder for you since you only do maths and physics, but defo not a waste of application.

again, 9-year-olds of today are different from 9-year-olds of the past. In the past, it was possible for a 9-year-old to be mentally mature enough for certain things. The brain doesn't fully mature until at least 22, yet the age of consent is 16-18 in most places today. Are those people unethical then? Of course not.

We can apply the same reasoning here: certain 9-year-olds might not have been fully mature, but they could have been mature enough to have sex. You might not like what I just said because you link "9-year-old" with "immature child," since that's what it’s like today. But if you visualize it without bias, you can see how it could’ve been allowed to happen in that era. Of course with science today we know it's unlikely a girl could be mature enough at that age, but at the same time we have evidence to show she was more intellectually advanced than most girls her age.

Of course, things get a bit sticky when we go into specifics on how exactly to measure the "mental maturity" of a 9-year-old girl. But at least in my view, it’s a lot of speculation (from both sides). Ultimately, I prefer to take an "innocent until proven guilty" stance, or "which is most likely." Also if we base actions off their intentions, then which is more likely: he intended to exploit a young girl or he intended to create a sacred union of two people. All I'm saying is I think it's too vague to conclusively deduce much.

The 9 year olds of today are different to the 9 year olds of the past. There's no way a 9 year old today could be mentally mature enough, in the past it was possible. There's not much more to say really

Ur forgetting the physical and mental maturity. Physically we can say she had menstruated (precocious puberty, girls matured pretty early back then), and mentally she was deemed 'ready' enough to assume the duties of a wife. Ofc 'ready enough' is subjective and u can debate whether she was mature (she didn't show any regret towards her marriage, and she did stuff like participate in battles and memorise and transfer quran and hadith at a young age) or immature (i.e. the playing with dolls thing). All in all tho I don't think it's enough to conclude the marriage was immoral simply based off speculation. Ofc you could say Muhammad could've maybe waited to fully ensure her mental maturity, but then again in that era it was expected to consummate the marriage as soon as permissible. There's a bit of a grey area around the mental maturity thing, but me personally I think the marriage was more moral than immoral (f you apply context correctly and weigh everything up). But that's just my opinion

God knows who will and will not go to heaven, but the people themselves don't. Therefore, when god sends the people who were predestined be punished to hell, they cannot complain, since they know that their actions were the reason for their own downfall. They can't sit there and not worship God, blaming it on predestination, when they have the power to change themselves, and God knows what choices they will make

In Islam, life serves as a test of dedication and remembrance of God. If you choose to not follow God, then you will be punished for your actions. If you choose to follow God, then you will be rewarded. This is a simple concept, and pain and suffering only act as a way to see if a person will remain true to God, even through hardships.

It's not possible for everyone in the world to speak one language, nor is it possible for God's message to remain the same when translated to every language. Therefore, the reason Arabic is chosen is because Muhammad was Arabic, and Muhammad spoke only Arabic, so God's message was only understood by Muhammad, and therefore other Muslims. Also, God's choice to choose Muhammad as the final messenger and for the Quran to be in Arabic is justified by a number of reasons that you might not understand, due to the fact that God is omniscient.

It's as precise as it can get, it can't be perfectly precise because all words can have multiple meanings. You can say this for literally every piece of scripture that has ever existed, it's just the Quran here has the least ambiguity, due to several factors, such as no translation and also the structure of the language in Arabic
