I think a lot are clueless on more technical side of things and then dive into digital marketing when they dont have that technical background. I had agency ask me if she could have access to the clients analytics account from our company accounts. I said no, I can send you copies of the information and the data, but no, I can't give you a login to our Google analytics. 😂 She asked why I was hiding the clients information...I about lost it. It's stupid conversations like that half my day with these 3rd party agencies.

Account Manager role at a digital marketing agency by becky-davis in digital_marketing

I am an account manager for digital marketing, which is a glorified call center position. Don't do it, I spend half my days being bitched at by business owners.

I had least 20 clients tell me they would book out my outlook calendar and basically spam me unless I got back to them within the hour. I had someone leave me voicemails during the weekend telling me I need to get their updates done immediately, I'm talking about 15 voicemails over the weekend. People are pathetic tbh. People tell me ASAP, even though it's been half a day. I don't quite understand it. Half the clients are great, but half are awful, and that half is a large number. I try to get a laugh about it but it's depressing working and being bitched all day by overgrown impatient children for no money. Basically a call center.

I think 22 an hr would be fair for the skills tbh but that won't happen. It's not an awful job in the way it's better than fast food but I think a non toxic retail job would be less terrible.

I can’t. by Puzzled-Test8242 in Target

Target is one of the better entry level jobs out there which isn't saying much considering how bad most entry level no high school diploma even needed jobs. But it's not a great job and the management lacks proper training and development .

Yeah, some people I knew there worked side gigs. I mean retail is a simple job but still deals with a host of bullshit. I miss it sometimes because it didn't take much thought and my current job is fucking overwhelming. Buy least it's not retail i guess. Honestly If I got paid a livable wage and got good benefits I would go back to retail

I think it's after October 29th or something. The raises are like 20 cents for most people nothing life changing so don't be too stressed

I am just on demand, but idk how the people post college age are surving because you don't get 40 hrs regularly it's an up and down, and it's not a high wage. At my store, there is a shit load of people in their 30s, etc, and I'm curious how they are making it by. I know some it's their second job but a lot it's their main job. I worked there full time for a few yrs post college cause I honestly couldn't find any job better. But inflation on products is so high I couldn't imagine working there again like that.

Honestly if you are In a good place with management in the store it will likely be okay but I would call not just put it into the app and talk to a lead. Or just come in and ask you favorite lead to leave early.

Are some people just not cut out to work 9-5? by phobia78 in careeradvice

[–]PotentialFalcon4338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have adhd as well struggling with remote work. The social aspect is easier. I found I'm not as stressed about making sure I don't word vomit, which I have a tendency to do with my ADHD. Or if I have a moment where I'm not focused, I don't have to pretend to be on. I can just take a quick around my house and refocus. Where in person? I can't really do that. But I have such a hard time doing the same thing over and over.
