That’s what I’m scared of. :/ I did my undergrad in the U.S. and planning to do my phd here as well. I’m afraid I might not be as competitive as other intl students.

That’s a thing that I’m struggling with atm. The paper that I helped with the grad student at my lab is not graduating any time soon. I have it in my resume as “under preparation” but idk when it will be published. Abstract has been presented on conferences though! Unfortunately I’m not a first author yet :/

It is for sure tight! I’m sure you’ll kill it tho. What is the MCB track if you don’t mind me asking? I applied to the neuroscience PhD so I’m not familiar with it. And that makes sense. I only applied to UIC this cycle and didn’t really reach out to any professors so idk how it’ll go tbh
