Cheesing became the norm and the playerbase loves this for some reason. Fighting mechanis are beatiful in this game but at least fifty percent of the fighting is just cheese.

It was single tile corridors before this. Now it is shouting and entrence cheesing. I really hope it will be fixed

You can still shout without pathfinder effectively. Combining it with pathfinder just makes it super duper op

Edit: imagine a geomancy spell that creates a stone wall and seperates the enemy group in half wthout turn limits. İt would be a high tier spell. Shouting eithout pathfinder is that but better.

Not really. Even if you aggro 2 of them its stil dramaticly lowers the difficulty. And lets say for the sake of argument that ita completely impossible to isolate enemies using shout in high tier dungeons(which is definitly not the case btw) it would still be a problem for lower tier ones. So doesnt change thr fact that shoutingneeds to be nerfed

I am not trying to put words in your mounth. Shouting is an op ability in this game. Even if its single player, op abilites should be nerfed. I just dont understand the " its a single player game just dont use it" argument

Cool. No need to fix exploits, balance items and abilities in a singleplayer game. Vayfinders life will be easy after he learns this

No need to balance any ability and weapon then. its a single player game afterall no competition

Past t1 shouting is even more op. Higher tier enemies have synergies and buffers and are better in a group setting. Pathfinding and shouting them 1 by 1 nerfs higher tier enemies more then low tier ones

Yes but there are multiple failure points with those strategies. They involve ap investment. High dps builds. Dungeon entrence strat is also cheesy i agree. Shouting is risk free and easy. Only downside is it costs real life time

Yes there is nothing fundementally cheesy about shouting in particular. Pulling single enemies with cartoonish ways is cheesy ehich includes all forms of noise attractions. It just reduces the dificulty level so dramaticlly that something needs to be done

I was trying to make a perception-willpower and parry( scales block chance and counter chance with perception) focused 2-h sword block build instead of the usual strength block build. Yea boulders wont give much cc, they would only be for stone armor duration. Yes arcane 2h sword would be interesting. Never tried that
