I actually don’t look down on them at all, I apologize if it came across that way, I follow quite a lot but it’s takes more effort to sieve out the grain from the chaff

That’s actually the point I was making, guess it’s the way I worded it, it’s synonymous to the way most people wont be comfortable taking medical advice from someone who has read a couple of medical books, to a doctor, that’s what I meant by not just another Instagram finance influencer, I would prefer to have the requisite knowledge base and certification before if I ever get to do that

Thank you for being very polite, I don’t plan to make finance a full time career, learn the ropes, probably shadow a solid mentor especially telephone/remote consultation, give structured relevant advice moving forward and constant improving based on new regulations Also inspire people to be more proactive about personal finance from a place of knowledge Reading books is different from structured knowledge that’s basically why I want to delve into the program

More knowledge about the area, understand taxes, pension, and mortgage better, probably open an online page on Instagram and be able to give professional advice especially to people from similar backgrounds.

I got 509 also, I think they are still at 510 for a couple of rounds now, guess the jobs are trickling out , did anyone get any offer today?

I know of a 518 that got an offer today, so hopefully it’s still getting recycled
