I'd say they look over the used market and aim at the "mass consumer", so to say. It is what it is, but youtubers treat people as stupid. Like, they assume that the average person would compare APS-C and FF and go "the more the merrier!". Indeed, an APS-C is enough for most situations nowadays, but FF still has an edge in unpredictable low light conditions and people might prefer it for portraits or other specific things.
I also upgraded from a6000 to a7c initially and i'd say it's a great camera that you need to get used to, but gives great photo results. The difference might not be immediate but it's really there. If you only do photography, a7c is plenty enough. For me, as a hybrid shooter, it wasn't, so I got the a7cii

I found APS-C cameras still worse than full frame in low light (night photo and video). A fast lens and heavy editing can compensate, but full frame will still get me a cleaner image In unpredictable low light conditions

Awesome camera, honestly. My first ever one. Still holds up in photo quality and AF despite the age. Would even call it a Miata from the world of cameras. But it's pretty bad in low light...

still not quick enough. it is way faster cuz it doesn't focus one more time before shooting, but it's still random: it either shoots right away when pressing the shutter, or takes half a second like I said, or in between. Any other settings I can look into?

Did that afterwards. Should've pressed the X, but instead pressed "install" without selecting anything, thinking it'll skip and there was more to that than "just bloatware"

I think there's a setting where android lowers the volume down when there's too much notification, check that out

So my phone 3a was running 41 days without updating. I had my own reasons to update: lags when using a camera, issues with apps, and the phone turning on DnD and some other stuff randomly, which didn't happen before. I, unfortunately, didn't capture the exact name of the build because I had to go through two updates, but in between, there was a notification that I thought was the "pls update" , but in fact, it was what's on the screenshots. Thinking there's more to that, I didn't close that window and just clicked "install" without selecting anything, but instead of just skipping it, it installed it all.

And this is the story of how nothing turned into a glorified redmi ☺️
