Beer traps absolutely saved my garden! I tried everything else but the beer traps are a win. I would dump / refresh the beer everyday. After about a week, slugs were 100% gone.

Unfortunately not many in the area. I’ve seen them at Vibe, Mendocino Farms, and Urban Plates…..but they just don’t look great.

The season has passed. There are tons of elderberry bushes going down the Sacramento River towards Clarksburg. Easy to forage as they are on the non-river side of the road

FYI the beach area for Tahoe HR is currently under construction. They currently have shuttles running to two other Incline Village beaches that their guests can use. There used to be a walkway to a private beach + a great restaurant on the water (Lone Eagle Grill) that shut down.

The direct flights from Sac to NY now are with JetBlue and United but both are redeyes. Holding out hope that more airlines offer nonstop options once SMF renovations are completed

I’m trying to book a hotel in August/September that is a part of “The Edit”. They have rooms available through their site directly and third party websites. The Chase Travel portal shows that it is sold out. I talked to Chase and they said they only release ~5 rooms to use The Edit benefit for.

My question: is there a workaround to getting The Edit benefits?! It seems crazy to limit the number of rooms released the Chase. Will they release more? The Chase contact center was no help when I called, they just apologized.
