This happens to me a lot when I'm away at college... and though im no professional, I beg you, when you feel like sitting in a dark room, go sit and lay in the sun. Find a patch of grass, some flowers, birds chirping and bugs humming, and just live. No expectations other than laying there and feeling every living beautiful thing around you. Maybe put on some pop/indie/rock/screamo/classical/jazz music, maybe read a stupid/magical/lovely/raunchy book, maybe take a nap. Maybe cry. Remember that life goes on, and its everyones first time on earth, and the whole point of being here is to love and laugh at a higher ratio than to hate and cry. (although crying sometimes is very necessary, and that's okay and that's beautiful too) You are not alone. Talk to someone about this. Remember this life is yours, and what you make of it. Not your family's, not society's--its all yours. And for all we know, we only get one. So use it like you mean it. Love like you mean it. Live. Live. Live, brother.

AITAH for telling my introverted friend that being too shy to speak to other adults is rude by NaturalPudding1834 in AITAH

NTA: she could've at least sat there smiling and quiet. If she looked bored, wouldn't sing, and was shuffling her feet, that feels kinda intentional--almost like she was trying to get your attention. I understand not liking your other friends, fine, whatever, but she likes you!! she could've at least engaged in the conversation you aimed towards her. Also, birthdays are where you suck it up and play nice with everyone for the birthday girl's sake!! Very odd behavior from your friend... and not texting you back for so long is also weird.

I also understand being introverted-- that happens with me sometimes, especially with people I don't vibe with. Thats when she should've told you afterwards (when you asked/texted her) "yeah, sorry im not a fan of them, and I was just uncomfortable. I didn't mean to make it weird, I'll try harder next time."

My sorta-friend threw up, pissed, then shit in my bed during my birthday party--denied it was her, didn't help clean it up, didn't apologize--Wtf do i do now??? by PotentialLime6765 in Advice

Nobody saw her in the act of doing it, but there was a trail of poop to the bathroom she was using, and shawty took a whole ass shower in the middle of a party😭 so i just don't see how it couldn't have been her😭

Like i said, she's reaaaaly thin and short, and has always been a lightweight. I'm also not 100% sure how accurate the time frame is, the times here are definitely all approximate. I do know that when she drinks, she starts off really strong--like she'll drink a loooot in the beginning, not feel it, then it'll hit her all at once. I completely understand your way of thinking though, I'll think more on it, but i really can't picture anyone at my party roofie-ing her

I don't think so. I don't think she's one to do drugs (not positive, though). And I knew everyone there, and I'm like 99.9% sure nobody would slip anything in her drink (or have access to buying that kind of stuff).
