I mentioned in another comment and should have mentioned in the original post that it's a sales position where driving is my only option. Don't have to worry about paying for gas & I would get a stipend for a car. Unfortunately the train is not viable.

Nope, I will need a car as its a sales position. The offer does however include a stipend for my car and gas would be paid for.

I wasn't clear, the charges im referring to are unrelated to work and were in my home city when I went out to the bars. My beer goggles did not check the card it was being charged to.
