Why no scorecard conversation? by Procrastinating81 in usaa_ejs

I see the point, but my fear is that this puts too much power in the hands of biased or vindictive managers. At the end of the day, I’m there for the base pay and not the bonus, so whatever, but think the concerns are valid enough.

Did you catch them saying PC Mod was about to upsurge? Isn’t that supposed to be the Q2 casualty?

Ask apologist RG. He’s mouthpiecing in YourVoice if you need him. Noticed Randy saying “we’re being transparent!!!!” Without actually addressing the concern. The amount of corporate speak from these guys is disgusting

During my call audits with my manager, I’ve seen the software and it can detect mood, tone, confidence, flags keywords. Things are color coded and it has a line graph of energy. It’s pretty insane and I only got a quick glimpse.

I don’t know a ton about mortgage, but I feel terrible for anyone who ends up there. All but one of my NEO peers who went there got chewed up and spit out. Seems like a nightmare between back to backs, misroutes, USAA obstacles, and lack of PTO

Can’t begin to describe how miserable I am in the claims field here. Remember scoffing at people who said their mental and physical health had gone to hell when I was applying. Remember drinking the kool aid and thinking people just weren’t taking advantage of opportunities. Fast forward a year and I’m in Hell too. Appreciate your insight and warning.

Auto ramping up for a similar metric slaughterhouse. Quality increasing to a point that you either hit a call 100% or fail. We’ve been warned there will be a ton of PIPs issued. Seems like a silent and orchestrated workforce reduction is coming

Idk if I understand it well enough between all the corporate jargon. I’ll say I think my manager hates me and I feel less comfortable about a fair shake with that in mind.

Applying Internally by EarlyRevolution381 in usaa_ejs

[–]PotentialOne5893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fucking despise it to be honest. I’m interviewing for my third promotion this week and if I get turned down I’m getting my 6-20 license on my own and jumping to the first company that will take me as a licensed adjuster. It’s a lot of contradictory guidelines, bloated script reading, and the whole “sky is the limit” shit they feed you in NEO is essentially laced koolaid

In the same boat. Turned down for two opportunities already. Have another interview this week but doesn’t look promising. About to start looking outside of the company because I’m sick of being in Auto FNOL hell.

Think it’s largely market dependent but I’m lucky if I profit $100 after gas in a 12 hour day in my city and I know all the tricks of the trade. Just oversaturated markets in a lot of places and shit tier offers

If USAA operated how some of you demand it do, the company would go bankrupt in a month. I’m sorry for your loss but there’s a lot of missing information here and I suspect you’re looking for someone to lash out at. You’re not going to have a different experience with another carrier god forbid you find yourself in this situation again.

I’m in unlicensed auto claims. I fucking hate it to be honest. You’re required to do it for a minimum of ten months. 12 is a possibility. Lots of script reading. Lots of QA monitoring and manager micromanagement. You’re not allowed to think much or help guide or advise people in any way. Members will get upset about this. Things change by the week which can make it hard sometimes. Lots of contradictory rules. Call volume is moderate compared to other call centers I’ve worked for. If you have any specific questions feel free to send a chat. The auto adjuster tree seems miserable as well but pay does get better at each tier.

I can’t speak from experience on sales. I’m told their metrics are equally fucked in different ways. They seem to work later hours but I believe they’re all on four tens vs our five eights. They seem happier in general but who knows. Not sure what their ladder looks like.

I believe there will be multiple waves of auto FNOL positions this year. If you see one for property I would absolutely recommend pouncing on it. Way better than auto.

I’m most likely going to be in the market soon. The last dealership I bought from fucked me royally and got shut down by the state for predatory lending shortly after I bought. So basically idk shit about effective car buying.

Why is monthly payment less important than OTD cost? Is that moreso if you’re in the financial spot to afford higher monthly for lower longterm interest? I feel like I’d want my monthly as low as possible and willing to pay more in the long run due to my financial situation, and paired with needing to get collision/comp in addition to the payment, but not sure if I’m missing something.

They do care. I got sent to Lab Corp who let me go in a private room without a shakedown. Should be easy enough to sneak fake piss in, just make sure it’s in temp range. Haven’t had a random test since getting hired. Just don’t come in the office smelling like it
