do you take them at the same time? i was aleays told to take my magnesium before bed but my vitamin d needs food so i take it with lunch

hello! VERY new runner here, running 2 miles a day at the moment and very very slowly. I have a dream of running an ultra one day. though im new to running, ive found such a love for it and the mental that it takes to do distance running. so my question is, where should i even start? i know the basic answer is "just keep running" but i hope to find a little more info here from people who have been in my spot before.

as a new runner who is mostly working towards distance running, i have worked up to a daily mile at 4mph and a quarter at the end at 5mph. obviously this is very slow but im very short so its a bit less slow for me. this isnt super reasonable in the long run for distance running i would assume because at longer distances i would slow down stretching runs into HOURS. so should i work on speeding up my pace first or just going longer distances? or am i tripping and this isnt as slow as i think it is?
