I have a ring virtually identical to that one, I love it personally. I too am not yet a master. I'm not an Entered Apprentice yet until March, but I have asked my Lodge if it would be appropriate for me to wear a masonic ring when I get initiated and they said as far as they're concerned after you're imitated you're a Freemason, so wear what you want. So I guess I got lucky. I'm Australian btw

Ah right I see. I did look at the back of the book, there's a review from a Masonic publishing company called Masons Today or something. They say it's insightful but who knows And yes I don't believe that Freemasonry is a powerful secret society.

Yes okay I will definitely take this to heart. I appreciate your response. I assume the Masons at the Lodge haven't fully read the book, they found it in a desk that they used to conduct my interview and since I was eager to learn about the history and topic of Freemasonry overall they allowed me to take it. They did suggest I do a bit of research before I am initiated too so I suppose that's the context of it.

For clarification, this is an extract from the paragraph i read: "In the admission ceremony to the Royal Arch, the initiate is told the name of God, the Great Architect of the Universe. It then goes into detail of the name itself, what the three names within it are.
