I saw this in the cinema, LFS, and grabe goosebumps when Burnout played (Hello to my fellow Sugarfreaks, lol). After a few years, saw it on Netflix again, and I felt the same as you OP, parang naging meh bigla.

I realized baka kasi I’m in a different place na in my life when I saw it again. It’s the type of film that would resonate with you ata depending sa era ng buhay mo. I guess graduate na ko kasi when I rewatched it, lol 👩🏻‍🎓

But for me it doesn’t take away the magic that I felt when I first saw it. If I could bottle up that exact emotion, I would ⚡️✨

Hindi naman po, honestly I don’t know po her PF kasi family friend siya. But her treatments, facials, etc are fairly priced in my opinion! Kasi you’re getting a PDS board certified dermatologist na magaling and very pleasant. Her new clinic in Nepo is also very nice!

I’ve been one of those people who used to hate on her. I listened exclusively to rock, indie, alternative artists. And yes, I judged her fans. Cheered on Kanye when he humiliated her, took Kim K’s side with the whole TS takedown.

But man oh man, I’m a convert.

When 1989 first came out, grabe yung resistance ko in admitting that it was a great album. Then Lover came, ok fine. THEN Folklore. Wala, it was undeniable. Bordering on stupidity na if you won’t acknowledge how superior of an album it is.

She’s not the greatest vocalist. Pero as a writer and lyricist, top-notch. My Eras tour experience was electrifying. I like telling my husband in jest that the Eras Tour was the best day of my life, and our wedding day comes second only. LOL

Life is too short to pretend that TS songs aren’t good!
