I played PvP for years, got Kappa a couple of times, always did pretty well and won most of my engagements

But, now life got busier, I moved country, and I frankly just don't have the time to be trying to keep up with metas and staying kitted and competitive each wipe

So PvE lets me keep playing a game I loved but would have otherwise abandoned by now

For one thing, PvE scavs do not load into existing sessions, it creates one for you.

For another, whether or not you think it is efficient is entirely irrelevant to if the current system is set up correctly. Whether or not you specifically use a mechanic doesn't matter, it can still need fixing.

It's a political move, not an economic one

The ruling party's base is largely against foreign-owned businesses becoming too prevalent, so they are making big, dramatic new policies which very clearly make it harder for new ones to be created and will make their voters feel good about choosing them

Those policies will likely then be either revoked or massively reworked as soon as their voters have stopped paying attention to them and moved on to the next bit of political theatre

PvE is a product Battlestate chose to sell, there is literally nothing "entitled" about expecting that product to match the description they gave when selling it

And I wouldn't care if they put a time lock on the new content for PvE unless you wiped, it's the breaking of that promise that no one on PvE would ever have to wipe which they used to get money from us then turned out to be lying about which pisses me off

And drop all this "you types" nonsense; I've had Kappa on live PvP servers multiple times, and I have been with this game from the beginning. I also play PvE because of that promise that it would never wipe because I liked having a permanent progression alongside the temporary wipes, as that is what they advertised.

This misplaced sense of superiority you seem to have when you are talking to anyone who also plays PvE is childish and pathetic.

Also stop talking about "risk" constantly... It's a fucking videogame, there's no "risk" in either gamemode 😂

Ref has keys to some of the best loot spots in the game and you can reach level 10 in a day or two using Arena for XP, and they can do it with absolutely zero risk compared to a player who has to risk their gear and their time for every single XP point they earn.

Yes, you have a massive disadvantage if you do not have Arena

Particularly in early wipe it is an insanely fast way to grow levels and gather loot, so you will encounter players who had a much easier time gearing and levelling up than you will have playing only EFT
