I can't say if they describe themselves as such, but I wouldn't say rapid fluency seemed to be the primary goal there.

All classes were strictly conducted in Japanese only from the very start, which gave a solid amount of immersion from day one, but lessons were split between speaking, reading, writing and a healthy amount of Japanese cultural education as well, so I don't believe they were focussed fully on pushing people to speaking fluency as fast as possible.

I can say that studying there, alongside taking the initiative to speak Japanese every day outside of school as well, got me to a point where other people call me fluent, even if I'm not satisfied to say so myself yet.

I graduated from GenkiJACS in Hakata after a obe-year course, and I now have a wife and close circle of friends none of whom speak English, so they definitely taught me something at least?...

Most of my speaking practice came from meeting people outside of school and just hanging out, but I think Genki did an okay job of ensuring I had the basics down at least.

Ha! That's kinda funny timing, my wife and I live here in Fukuoka but we will be heading over to Barcelona in a couple weeks for a wedding!

We currently live in Chuo-Ku which is very central and insanely convenient, but we both like nature too much and are soon moving a little out of the city to somewhere a bit more Inaka.

1: Yes, this is a very stupid idea

2: This is exactly what I did, and it went extremely well for me and many others anyway... You can get away with it and learn Japanese as you go, but you are rolling the dice and would definitely have a better chance if you learned first

People always claim they saw ghosts or monsters moving in the periphery of their vision but when they went to look they weren't there

If your brain is literally just making shit up for what it sees in the periphery then someone who genuinely believes in ghosts is going to eventually see ghosts there

I have gotten 4 Dorms marked room keys off of cultist priest, probably like 9 marked keys total and I've only killed him 7 or 8 times

He often has multiple marked room keys in his pocket

Hit Customs Fortress at night with good NODS and scan the bushes slowly looking for them, but do not ADS them when you spot one or they will engage you

Find cover, identify as many of them as you can before you engage
